Is this part difficult to change out? What do i need to know?

Hello Carolyn, thank you for writing. It is a straight forward repair. It slips into the slot for it on the door, and sometimes it is magnetized. You may have to soak the Gasket in hot water to enable it to stretch enough to go on. We hope this helps.

Steps to replace gasket WR24X10010?
For model number FUF 21SVDRWW
Hello James, Thank you for your inquiry. First, soften the gasket by soaking it in hot water to get the kinks out of it. Then take the door off of your freezer, and remove the old gasket by removing the screws from the inner door liner. Press the new gasket into the grove on the inner door liner, then replace the screws, starting with the corners. Then replace the door. Its not freezing bread on top rack and there is frozen water on the bottom. and i don't see an adjustment for temperature. will a new seal correct this?

Hi Tom, thank you for your question. It could be your gasket but more likely you will want to check your defrosting parts. Check to see if there is any frost build up on your evaporator coils. If there is then you have a defrosting issue. You should then check your defrost thermostat, defrost heater, and the defrost control. You may also want to make sure that your evaporator fan motor is working correctly as well. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My freezer closes only from the bottom and on top it dose not close. Do u think it has with the rubber??
