Finish on handles had worn off over the years - they looked awful !

WIth a flathead screwdriver, I "popped off" the 4 long thin white "cover" strips that run from the top and bottom of the doors to the beginning of the door handles. This exposed the screws that held the old handles in place. Simply remove the old handles, replace with new ones, then replace the "cover strips" . It was very easy and looks so much better. I should have done it years ago !

Light switch broken/door handle worn

To repair the light switch you need to replace the control board since the switch is not replaceable. The control board is easily gotten to by removing the outer cover, which snaps out, the removing the screws that hold the housing for the control board, make sure you disconnect the power and turn off the water supply before you remove the outer cover.. The board is held in place by a bracket which has two screws, make sure you disconnect the two wiring harnesses before the bracket. Once you get the bracket off the control board slides right out. To install the new board, just reverse the process.

Changing the handle is accomplished by remove popping out the top and bottom trim pieces, then remove the upper and lower screws from the handle. Reverse the process to install the handles.

Faded door handles

Simply lifted up the molding with a flat head screw driver, removed the screws then removed the old handles and replaced with the new ones. Pressed the molding back into place. Easy a pie. Great Service too.

Uncommon/unusual screws

Flat or philips screwdriver does not fit, Hex keys do not fit either. Had to buy a set of 6-pointed Torx keys to remove and re-install the existing screws. With the right tool it is an easy job.
