Good part came fast, but did not go as expected. Existing hose the needed extension has spiral configuration and the extension expects a smove (not spiral) area to connect to. Result is the connecting point leaks along the spiral no mater how tight you make the clamps. The partselect ad and instruction do not make the clean. All hoses I can find are spiral with no smove joints.

This is a GE washer not labelled as Hotpoint. It is leaking at the top that feeds to an external well. Leaks only during operation probably during spin cycle. What part do I need to replace?
