My washer will not spin or drain. It does agitate to clean clothes but stops when it needs to spin or drain. What could be the problem

Thank you for the question, You will most likely need to replace the Lid Switch,PartSelect Number PS270219.This part makes sure that the lid is shut before allowing the machine to spin.

My washer goes thru the wash cycle but the water doesn't drain out & it won't spin. I've checked out other cycles & everything is ok, just the one problem. My lid switch is good.

If the washer is not draining or spinning, it is likely an issue with the lid switch, but there are some other parts that you will need to check, You will need to check the drive belt, the drain pump, the hoses and the motor. Pump will not turn on i think all other features work.
