Too easy! Push on dial, push on knob, insert clip. Done. Back in the day a repairman would have probably sold me a new timer with that knob and dial!

I took the control knob off and saw the teeth broken and got on line and ordered the part. It was an easy fix.
opened the top part of washer where the dials are. Took out the old washer timer, inserted the new and replaced the knob and clip on the outside. Works like new.
I used a pair of needle nose pliers and a screw drive to remove the clip holding the knob on its shaft. The new knob came with its clip already in place, so it "popped" right on. I ordered the compression ring in error and it it was not needed
Just followed your instructions, which were very good and simple.Took old one off then put the Knob Dial on and it clicked right on..Very,Very easy
I pulled the old knob off and put the new one on.
Removed the four torx screws on top of backsplash, unplugged timer, removed the one holding screw, slid timer back and removed.
Used this site to find probable problem - stripped teeth on knob - and how to get old knob off using needle nosed pliers to remove clip. So also ordered replacement knob from this site - got it in one day! Took about 2 minutes to put replacement knob on. Most of repair time was figuring out what the problem was.
simply pulled the old one off with the broken clip and pushed the new one on. This is the third or fourth time we have used Parts Select and have always gotten the best service and best price.
I removed the old knob (very easy, used a flathead screwdriver to remove the clip and off it came). Put the new knob and clip on and voila!!!! It worked. My local appliance people wanted over $100.00 for the same part. Definately using Parts Select if issues arise in the future.
Removed clip from knob and pulled out old knob. Then got new knob and installed with the new clip ,very easy job.
Removed knob by using screwdriver to pry out plastic retainer. Put new knob on the timer. Took about 5 minutes. The problem was caused by the wearing out of the teeth on the knob.
Using screwdriver and pliers removed old knob; replacement snapped on easily.
Took old one off removed plastic clip with needle nose pliers clip was already on new knob just push it on real simple. RonnieG
