The rear drum bearing was worn the dryer became very noisy
i removed the scews just above thr opened dryer door, i was then able to swing the dryer top cover back. i then removed the lower front panel screws ,the the screws securing the front of the dryer ( where the door is ) and removed it. there are just 2 wires to disconnect. after the front is removed you gain full access for drum removal, remove the belt make sure the wires are not in the way and remove the drum.i also used a vacuume to clean the inside of the dryer. the front drum slides are very easy to replace only 2 screws each.remove old parts install new parts then just put the dryer back together in the reverse order i took it apart. after re-assembly i turned the dryer on it was so quiet running my wife and dogs were very happy. ps. i just want to thank the people at partselect for having all my parts in stock and for the speed in which i received them. other than having to repair my dryer it was a very pleasant experiance.

Damaged belt
Disconnect and clean all duct work.
Note: Lint is combustable, save yourself the disaster of a dryer fire.
Position dryer face down on floor. Access rear of unit, vacume clean. Upright unit. Access front of unit by removing sheet metal screws above door to float the lid. Using screwdriver gently seperate drum at top from housing. Hold open with wedges. Thread new belt through hole a foot or so. Tape belt to drum near drum center. Rotate drum until belt is fully around.
Note: Taping new belt to drum will assist you in reassembling. Belt will not fall off drum when unit is face down on floor.
Remove wedges and resecure sheet metal screws to top of unit. Place the unit face down again. Ensure belt clears all front mounts.
Note: gentaly pull drum from mount and slide belt between.
Remove old belt and idler pully.
Note: replace the idler pully with every new belt it will save you time later.
Install new idler pulley and rethread in new belt. Rotate drum to access and remove tape attaching new belt to drum. Upright unit and test. Re-attach access panels, reposition unit and re-attach duct work. Done

Had a lint filter that screen was all worn out
We ordered a new lint filter with white frame from Part Select. Had to take the dryer outside and blow all lint out that had accumulated in the dryer. We then vacumed everything out and brought back in house and put in new lint filter we ordered and used the dryer today and it works beautiful. Saved us from having to buy a new dryer. Thanks Part Select for having the filter we needed. Raymond Kampsen, Vassar, Ks.

Lint filter had holes in it. Req. Replacement,
Simple - took out the defective filter and replaced with the purchased part. The hardest part was figuring out the right lint filter. The extensive info on PART SELECT was very helpful.

The wire mesh on the lint filter separated from the frame and lint was getting inside the dryer.
Took the old filter out and inserted the new filter which was a near perfect fit on a 36 year old dryed that is still kicking! Delivery of the part was less than 24 hours after ordering over the phone. Thanks1

Lint filter had developed holes in the filter
Pulled the old filter out of the door of the dryer and then removed the new filter from the shipping box and took the new Lint filter out of the packaging and then slipped the new lint filter into the lint filter holder and started up the dryer and away we went on our happy way. Thanks to all of you guys and gals at PARTS SELECT.

Clogged lint filter with rust
The part received had about 6" of the screen not bonded to the frame. I used clear epoxy and a 1/8" dia. dowel wrapped in saran wrap. after applying the epoxy to the screen/frame interface, the wrapped dowel was clamped to the frame. After the epoxy cured I removed the fixture and peeled off the saran wrap. The fix was a complete success and was undetectable. Your support rep. was excellent and I will use your company anytime that I need parts. Thank you. Dave Hathaway.

Lint filter showing signs of wear. Can it be replaced?
I wanted to be sure a replacement would be available when the need arose. The dryer might be 30+ years old. Within a very few minutes I found the filter and placed an order. It arrived in 2 days. Now I won't have to worry about it in this aging lifetime.

Lint filter was tearing up
Easy as steps 1 & 2, remove old filter & replace w/ new. It fit perfectly which was my main concern, as I could not tell from picture if the length was correct. I am very pleased w/ product & it works just fine..

Lint filter has never been replaced.
This wan't a repair. It was simply a part replacement for a part that was easily accessable. I was more pleased at the fact that I could find the part considering how old the dryer is.
