My dryer works except whenever I manually open the door, it continues to run. Will this part fix that issue? Or, if not, then which part would you recommend? Thanks for any and all advise. -ml

Hello, Thank you for your question. If your dryer will not shut off, the timer may be causing the issue, but you should also check the timer knob and the rotary start switch.
