Water leaking out during rinse cycle
Based on what I read from other people and partselect, it was fairly easy to ascertain what was wrong. I removed the solonoid valve by removing the two screws that held in place. Had to clean up the solonoid valve rod due to water leaking into it by running it on a wire brush. Pulled out the stop nut and old seal and replaced it with the new seal. Could not get the new stop nut on but it does not seem to move so let it go. Have to say that reading all the comments certainly helped me with the repair. Additionally, ordered parts by email at 10:30 in the morning and receiving them the very next day. Could not believe they were delivered so quickly.

The drain shaft seal was leaking.
The solenoid and linkage was easy to disasemble, but getting the retainer (push on nut) off was difficult without removing the motor and pump. Once removed it was a snap. Getting the pump/motor back onto the pipes was near impossible from underneath. I had to remove the dishwasher from under the countertop to get it back correctly. I would reccomend doing this for this repair, as it made life a lot easier. Unwiring and removing the water supply line was not a problem either. WORKS AS GOOD AS NEW!

Water leaking from dump valve area when draining
I ordered a drain valve shaft seal and new push on nut after reading similar stories of leaking problems on-line. I was pretty sure the leak was coming from the dump valve seal.
With repair parts on-hand, I took my dishwasher out during kitchen remodeling. I put the dishwasher on it's left side and removed the solenoid rod (lifts out on its own) and the dump valve's white plastic lever. I removed the old push on nut and pulled out the old washer with a small screwdriver. I then installed the new washer paying close attention to the supplied directions that said to install it with the lip in the correct direction. I then slipped on the new push on nut. The new push on nut is necessary since the old one will be destroyed in trying to remove it. I attacked it with needle nose plyers, a nail, and a small screwdriver before getting it bend and become loose enough to slide off. Care must be taken not to damage the shaft and groove. If you are generally handy at repairs, this repair will be easy.
I just hooked it up a few days ago and ran a cycle and no leak. Countertops will be installed in 4 days and the dishwasher will then get used frequently. I have faith the repair will hold and the dishwasher will remain leak free.
Luckily PartSelect was available to order the $20 repair parts and keep my faithful dishwasher on-line. Saved me the cost of a new $500 unit. I know this dishwasher cleans well and I don't have to risk buying a new one just to find out it doesn't clean as well.

Leaking drain valve shaft seal
I took the lower cover pannel screws out of the dish washer to view the pump assy. Then remove the solinoid bracket which covered the Drain Valve Seal. The hardest part was removing the star washer in front of the seal. That is where I had to use the pliers to remove it. Then I had to straighten the washer out so I could reuse it. Pulled old Seal out and replaced with new and reassembled. Test ran a cycle and wasn't leaking any more. Easy fix!

Leaking shaft seal
Well disassembly was good - removed the spring cam assembly on the dump valve cam, then two screws of the solenoid to remove the solenoid, beyond that the repair became a little tough since the seal / shaft retainer wasdifficult to remove. The shaft has a grove which the retainer clip is hard to remove from, and once removed - it deformed, so i installed the seal using a nut driver as a seal press to evenly press it into place. then had to work the retainer with a small set of pliers to reshape it, then reaasembled in place which is when i realized why it was hard to get off due to the shaft grove, which as well as holds the seal it also aligns the shaft latteraly in the pump housing, but after putting it all together and firing up the dishwasher, no leaks and it was an hour laying on my side which i feel was worth it, thx jon

Water leak
Removed 1 C clip and 2 screws that held the Solonoid, cut the old push on nut off with a pair of dykes so it would not scratch the shaft, pinched out the old seal with a needle nose pliers and wiped everything clean with a moist paper towel. Replaced the old parts with the new ones but I still have the same, smaller, but same water leak.

Water leak around the drain valve shaft.
Ordered the Drain Valve Shaft Seal and Push On Nut to make repair. Removed dishwasher from counter. Removed motor/pump assembly from dishwasher. Removed drain celenoid from pump. Removed old push on nut and old drain valve seal. Installed new seal and push nut. Replaced everything in reverse order. Amazingly no water leaks after reinstallation. Seams to be working fine so far....fingers crossed. Hoping to get a few more years out of this dishwasher. Thank You PartSelect.
