This part works with the following brands: GE, Hotpoint & Kenmore.
This part fixes the following symptoms:
First I removed the four screws that secure the dishwasher to the underside of the countertop. Then I removed the four screws from the front cover at the toespace. Next I used an adjustable wrench to turn the feet to lower the unit enough to slide it out of the compartment. I unplugged the dishwasher and turned it on its side in order to access the hose chamber. I used a pliers to loosen the clamps at each end of the hose chamber and removed the the damaged item. Next I slid the ends of the new part into place and used the pliers to reposition the clamps. Finally I returned the dishwasher to an upright position, slid it back into the compartment, adjusted the feet to raise it to the proper height, put the toespace cover back on, secured the top of the unit to the underside of the countertop and I was good to go. No more water leakage.

First i removed the front cover from the dishwasher then i reached under dishwasher and removed the hose ,then installed the new one. the hose was different size on each end. it took a factory hose to fit it. The diagram that partsselect showed of the dishwasher (the breakdown) made ordering the right part a breeze. Thanks PartSelect.
Ordered the part online and replaced the hoses. Very easy...took maybe 20 minutes
Well the repair was pretty simple and with the parts arriving so fast I didn't really even miss the dishwasher for that long. Thanks to parts select and the very good parts breakdown of my model appliance I got the right parts the first time around. Thank you very much for being there it made my life a little easier. Tommy
At first I thought I would call a repair man. Then I thought-that will be at least $100!So we went online and found the part.Took about four days to arrive.I pulled the dishwasher out and turned it on it's front. The little leaking hose was easy to remove, two clamps, and the new one installed.Total cost-$14.00.
My husband installed the hose connected the 2 clamps and I was a happy house wife once more. NO MORE dish pan hands.
