Hello Ed, thank you for your question. Yes, the timer part number WD21X10077 is the correct timer for your unit. If some of the cycles aren't working but others are, the timer is the most likely issue. I hope this helps!

Hello Bill and thank you for writing. It certainly sounds more like it could be a faulty interlock switch PS1481922 and/or a faulty door latch PS259293, you should check for signs of damage, and replace if necessary. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Hello, During the dishwashing cycle, sometimes the dishwasher will drain and the drain solenoid will stay open when the dishwasher tries refilling with water (when normally the drain solenoid will close before refilling). i first inspected the drain solenoid, which looked badly corroded and dirty from a bad drain valve shaft seal, which leaked dirty water onto the solenoid and made the plunger very tight in the solenoid. i replaced the drain valve shaft seal/push on nut and the entire solenoid kit with all new parts. i'm getting essentially the same result as before i replaced the solenoid-related parts. the solenoid seems to consistently behave properly only on certain drains of the entire cycle, and likewise misbehave on certain other drains during the entire cycle. i'm no expert, but it seems like the solenoid is getting signaled to drain on certain specific drains, but not getting signaled to drain on other drains. any thoughts? does the timer regulate the signals to the drain solenoid? i checked the timer cam as well and it looks like there is no damage. thank you.

Hi Ryan, Thank you for your question. If your washer is filling and draining at the same time, check the drain solenoid. When the dishwasher drains, the plunger is pulled down causing the drain flapper to open and allow the water to drain. Verify if the plunger is stuck in the down position. If not, the problem may lie with the spring and the linkage connected to it. These parts are found in the drain solenoid kit, part number PS260117. If you need to place an order for it, you may order it either online or by calling our customer service line and anyone will be happy to assist you. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.
