The lower dishrack wheel on your dishwasher allows the dishrack to roll in and out effectively. If your lower dishrack wheels are damaged, or the rack does not roll in and out, you may need to replace them. This wheel is located on the front lower rack and includes the axle. This part is sold individually. The wheel and the axle are made of white plastic. The lower front dishrack wheel is approximately 1.5 inches in diameter. To complete the repair, simply detach the damaged wheel and axle from the rack, and install the new one by snapping the axle in place.
This part works with the following brands: GE, Hotpoint & Kenmore.
This part fixes the following symptoms:
Open the tiny plastic package in inserted the wheel onto the "axle". Opened the dishwasher, pulled out the bottom rack and snapped the wheel onto the rack. Done!

Just pulled off the old wheel. I just had to push in the stud to the wheel and pushed it on to the rack of the dishwasher. Very easy repair! Only disappointing part was that it bothered me to have to purchase the stud with the wheel. I was told they only came as the set. I only needed to purchase that inside stud. My wheels were fine.
First removed four old wheels. then attached four new wheels to lower rack by pressing into slots.
Pulled the end cap off and replaced the wheel. most of the parts were for future repairs
popped old wheel off popped new one onfor the rack roller i took the ends off and slid old rollers off then slid new ones on.
First removed dishwaser from under counter so I could get to rubber connecter. It is located in center under dishwasher. I first needed to unscrew with wrench rubber connection at pump and and then the complete piece unscewed by hand from pump wash arm. I then just had to screw new rubber connector back on to bottom of dishwasher and re-attached at the pump. It was very easy to replace the rubber connector. I also replaced the dishwasher sump housing because it was made of same rubbber material and feared it was deteriorating also. I had to unscrew with wrench at pump as well and it just popped out from inside dishwasher after unscrewing screen inside dishwaser. Popped new piece in and screwed screen back on and reconnected underneath dishwasher back to pump. The rack roller wheel just popped right on. FYI: The wheel is actually 1.75 inches in diameter not 2 inches. I was worried it might be too big if it where 2 inches but it was the same size as the other wheels which was 1.75 inches. The hardest part of this job was getting the dishwasher in and out from under the counter. The good news is that most of these parts are standard and the replacement parts fit perfect.
for the top rollers you must remove thethe end cap. this was easy ,i placed a block of wood on the outside .placed the punch on the inside where the channel is pushed in to hold cap on. smacked it till it was pushed out far enough to remove end cap. new rollers simply snap on. very easy,
Went to www.PartSelect.com. Part was easy to locate online with GE model number and illustraion online. They shipped the parts in two days and I put the new parts on by hand. Saved a $135 service call from GE. One part came in broken from the factory. Upon calling customer servce, PartSelect sent out a replacement part the next day - no problem. Great service, would be happy to use again - Thank you!
pulled the lightsocket back and down and took out bulb an unplugged. replaced with new socket nd put back in refrigerator and was missing roller in dishwasher. On that part all i had to do was push the clip onto the little bar and push the roller in
Inserted wheels on socket and then into the dishwasher rack.
Very simple repair: assemble the wheel/clip assembly. Attach to lower dish rack.I was very happy with the fast delivery by PartSelect.
There was a video on the page as the part. Done in a flash. The axle was a little hard to get into the wheel so I soaked it in a little hot water and it whet in like a charm.
It really was very simple. The parts just snapped together and then snapped into place on the rack.
Ordered the wheels from PartSelect.com, they were delivered the next day and I simply attached them to the dishrack. No tools needed for this repair.
