This surface knob is used for ranges and ovens. The knob allows you to control the level of temperature of the surface burner on a range. If you are unable to rotate the knob, it gets stuck, or will not rotate or move around, replacing the knob can fix the problem. To repair, simply remove the knob by pulling it straight off.
