Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
The washer stopped draining. All the pump motor did was hum.
I drained the machine and pulled it away from the wall. Then I disconnected the drain hose and removed the back panel.Next,I removed the three screws holding the pump in place and disconnected the power plug from the motor.I then removed the short drain hose from the pump.Installation was the opposite of the removal sequence, and the machine worked fine right after I was done. The new part was identical the the old one,and the job was a snap.

Will not drain pump running but no water coming out
For model number WTW495OXWO
PartSelect logo
Hello Paul, thank you for your question. If the pump is running but no water is coming out, we would recommend checking for blockages in any of the drain hoses, and be sure the drain hose from the unit to the drain in your house is positioned correctly. If that doesn't fix the issue we would recommend replacing the drain pump Part Number: WPW10276397. Please enter the part number into the site for current price and availability. Good luck with your repair!

When turned on it just sits there with slight hum no spin small amount of water remains in tub replaced clutch assembly 1yr ago warranty just expired.
For model number 7EWTW1300YM0

Hello Andrew, thank you for contacting us. It sounds like it might be the belt, if you press start but hear a hum and nothing moves that could be the motor turning but the belt is not on the pulley. Also If it will not start it could be the lid switch, if this is faulty it will not allow the washer to start. Hope this helps!

If washer doesn’t drain should spin cycle still activate before the pump starts
For model number MVWX550XW2
PartSelect logo
Hello David and thanks for writing. There may be an issue with the “Lid Switch”. Top loading washing machines that have a faulty lid switch will not turn the agitator and the spin cycle will not start. However, on some washing machine models, it will still agitate but not spin. To properly check this you must remove the lid switch. (The lid switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame.) Another common item to go bad in your washer is the “Water Level Control / Pressure Switch”. This is usually always the defective part when your washing machine pumps the water out but will not spin and also when the water overflows on your washer. You can check this yourself by removing the 4 screws that hold the control panel in place. Once removed you will see the Water Level Control Valve.o identify it look for the part with the small plastic tube attached to it. Once identified, pull the plastic hose off the water level switch and blow air into it. If the tube is clogged with soapy residue, then you can try forcing vinegar down the tube and in the switch itself by using a turkey baster as this will dissolve the soapy residue. If the switch is visibly cracked or burned you will need to replace it. To replace this switch, the proper procedure for removing the switch will vary by different washing machine models so look in the user’s manual guide that came with your washer for the proper removal procedure. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

Machine runs through wash cycle but once wash cycle completes it doesn't drain. It did make a..sorry of a rubbing sound (brrrt for lack of a better way to describe it), then it does nothing else. i'm thinking a drain pump don't don't want to throw parts at it. what are the other possibilities?
For model number Wtw4950xw0

Hello Kevin and thanks for writing. Most likely this is the drain pump #PS11751719, but you should check your lid latch assembly # PS3497627 for wear and tear as well. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime

When wash cycle is complete clothes are still full of water. I have to run a drain and spin cycle to get them wrung out enough for the dryer.
For model number WTW5640XW2
PartSelect logo
Hi Loretta, Thank you for the question. If you can not hear the washer spin out after the wash cycle ends automatically(and you are not getting a lid lock error), It sounds like the timer is not advancing through the cycles. The timer on this model is built into the control board and the board will need to be replaced.Hope this helps!

Hello Quang, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: lid latch assembly, shift actuator, drain pump, and the main control board. Also make sure that the hoses are not cracked or clogged. You can test the parts with a multimeter. Hope this helps!

Cycle takes much longer to run than it should and then it won't drain. It will fill up and wash but will not drain completely at the end. (clothes are still full of water)
For model number MVWC425BW0
PartSelect logo
Hi Jedd, Thank you for your question. There are a few parts that you can check. The drain pump would be one of them and you should also take a look at your lid switch and make sure it is working correctly. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The machine finished washing but it didn't drain the water out. There was an error code p21. I need to know what is happening with the machine.
For model number MAT20PDAWW0
PartSelect logo
Hello Cesar, Thank you for the question. The F21 Error code indicates the drain pump is not draining. You can check the drain pump and hose to make sure nothing is lodged inside causing a blockage. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects. If the error still appears, you may need to replace the pump, PartSelect Number PS11751719. Hope this helps!

The machine washes ,drain, rinse, but doesn't spin.
For model number mat20pdaww0
PartSelect logo
Hi Cesar, thank you for your question. There are a couple of parts that you could check for this issue. The first part you should look at is the washer drive pulley. If that part is fine you should take a look at your lid lock for being the issue. When that part is malfunctioning it will not allow your appliance to go into the spin cycle. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
