Product Description

Drip Bowl - 8 Inch Specifications

Drip bowls are located under the heating elements and catch grease and spills that come from cooking on your stove top. If your drip bowl is damaged or rusted, it could allow grease to drip inside your range. This 8 inch chrome drip bowl fits most electric ranges. Before you replace your damaged drip bowl, make sure the element is turned off and cool to the touch. Installation is easy, just remove the element, replace the current drip bowl, and reattach the element. Make sure the small hole on the bowl lines up with the element socket. Drip bowls are sold separately.

Burners wouldn't sit right in drip pans. Melted a plastic container on a burner.
Make sure all burners are off and cool to the touch
Lift up on the burner coil and pull to the side
Lift out the drip bowl
Gasp at how dirty it is
Dispose of dip pan in recycle bin
Wash the gunk off your stovetop, then wash your hands!
Replace the drip pan so that the hole is over the plug in area
Replace the burner coil by poking it into the hole and fiddling around with it until it engages.
Push it firmly into place.
Admire your work, go fix a cold drink and put your feet up
Feel good about your home repair skills!

Could not find the correct replacements (burners & drip pans)
After months of buying the wrong parts & cost I discovered this site So easy to order & quick delivery, plus very easy installation. Thank you. I also wanted to add that the reps (Tanisha & Matthew) were extremely helpful & informative. I can only hope all the reps equal their performance. I will definitely be using this site, before any other source. Knowledge & cost is also important to me & that need was met. Good job!

A tenant left the Drip Bowls in an uncleanable state. I could not find a suitable replacement..
Most trainable people can pull out the heating elements and replace the Drip Bowls. The great thing about the ordered drip bowls was that they FIT! Most drip bowls sold as easy replacements for GE or Hotpoint appliances do not fit and wobble the heating element or drip bowls. If not fitting correctly, the tenant usually destroys the heating element and the drip bowl.

Live in an apartment and they had generic drip pans on the stove causing pots to tilt when cooking.
Replaced drip pans that the apartment Superintendent had in place with the correct drip pans and now cooking is beautiful again! No more uneven cooking on the stove top.

This is quite an old range. I got replacement drip bowl an element from home depot. The labels said “fits most GE models”. The 6” bowl and element fit but the 8” pair were about 1/4 of an inch too big. Will this fit my old range.

I have an electric flat top service stove . Well my stove top works but my oven does not turn on anymore . The electric buttons will not work . What do i need to fix this problem?
PartSelect logo
Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for your question. If your oven is not heating, the part that fixes this issue the majority of the time is the oven sensor. The oven temperature sensor is the part that monitors the oven temperature and signals the electronic control board to turn the elements on and off. To verify if the oven sensor is preventing the oven from turning on, you will need to unplug the oven from the electrical outlet and remove it from the oven to test it for continuity with a multimeter. In order to test it, you will need to reference your owner’s manual to determine the correct reading for your model, as this varies from model to model. To test for continuity, use a multimeter on the Rx1 setting and touch the terminals with the probes. This test needs to be done with the sensor at room temperature to produce accurate results. If your test results do not meet the manufacturer’s guidelines, you need a replacement temperature sensor. If the sensor is fine, you will then need to check the electronic control board, the elements and wiring between the parts to see which one is causing the issue. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
