Simple replacement on an old "built in" range in good condition but drip pans and trim rings soiled beyond cleaning. Stove top, although 20+ years old, now looks like new. So glad to find parts were still available as "universal" replacement parts for the 8 inch burner do not fit. Delivered to my door in days.

The replacement drip bowl and trim ring fit perfectly.
ordered the parts and then replaced old with new.
replace trim rings with the new shiny ones I got from parts select. Thank you!
Ordered the parts from Parts Select and in a day I had them.Great shipping and no problems. All you have to do is lift the unit out, remove 3 screws, replace unit, put screws back in and test. Done.
Just replaced drip pans and rings on stove
simply lifted the heat coil and slid the rings off and lifted the drip pans off. Vacumed the bottom underneath the old pans. Cleaned the grease off around the stove where the rings sat. Let it dry and added the new rings and pans. Looks like it did 30 years ago.......let them try making a stove last that long today !! Make sure the power is OFF at the electrical box.
Replaced drip bowls.
I pulled the door off by lifting it off. I removed both racks and then removed the two screws that held the heating element. I pulled the element out about 4 inches and then disconnected the two wires with a screwdriver. I installed the new element in the reverse order. It all went very quickly and with the quick shipping, the oven was only out of service for a few days.
We have the original 1970's counter top stove and the elements were breaking!!! My 13 year old son replaced the two elements (I think the process is not that hard to do and I don't know the steps... sorry!) and dad helped him make the drip bowls fit (since we haven't been able to find parts locally!)
lift stove eyes and replace
just replaced the old for the new
turn off power at breaker. lift element from stove top lift out drip bowl . remove clips and ceramic cover. unfasten three wires. using new element install three wires to new burner ,clip on ceramic cover then slide burner back in to stove top and install drip bowl turn on power and test
First my husband removed the screws that held the element in place, pulled it partially out and then disconneted the wires. He located the part number that was stampted on the defective element and then I searched the internet for GE parts. I noted the price at GE site and continuted to search. The PartSelect price was about 1/2 of the GE price. We ordered the part, it arrived in two days, and we replaced it in less than 30 minutes. We were very pleased.
