Does not heat. Fan works turntable does not operate. Sensor error appears on control panel.

Hi Jim,
Thank you for your question. If the microwave will not heat, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the diode, the door switch and the magnetron. If the turntable is not turning you will need to check the driver motor, the coupler and the roller guide. I hope this helps. The top keys on the microwave will not work and display an "f5" error message when pushed. Also..the clock lights are now out, too.

The broiler control does not work and consequently the oven cleaning does not work. I have determined that it is not the element by switching the wires from the control to the broiler and bake elements.

Hello David, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the Sensor, PartSelect Number PS236490. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. Hope this helps!
