This OEM light bulb is located in your range hood or vent hood unit. It provides light while you cook on the stovetop. You can determine if the bulb is broken by checking if it does not turn on when you flip the switch. The bulb has a power rating of 50 watts and requires a voltage of 120 volts. Signs of a broken bulb include shattered glass or a burned-out filament. If the light bulb is not functioning, it can make it challenging for you to monitor what you are cooking. To remove the old bulb, place your fingers where its silver rim is, and turn it to the left to loosen it from the socket. Gently pull it out of the housing. When installing the replacement bulb, line up the prongs with the receptacle, push it in, and turn it to the right to secure it. Please note that the bulb is sold individually and separately from the socket.

How do you replace bulb on hood
