This part works with the following brands: Frigidaire, Gibson, Kelvinator, Kenmore, Tappan & White-Westinghouse.
All that you have to do is slide the old part out that attaches to the cabinet of the air conditioner and slide in the new. You first slide in the accordian part of the extention panels and then the two plastic sections into the rails that hold them in place. No tools are required. Just make sure that you order the correct panel that needs to be replaced.

Very easy! Just slide out the old and slide in the new! Thanks for your great service!
the old ones just slipped out and the new ones went on like a glove.---a no brainer project!
Screwed on top channel and slid curtains into place. Can't be easier.
After removing the old set...my neighbor (I'm his second wife on loan) LOLHe then carefully slid the first panel down the side of the air conditioner side. As soon as he got it down and adjusted the accordian within the track. The more he gently pulled the accordian part the more it started to tear away from the first piece which had to be slid down the track on both sides of the air conditioner. I called the toll free number and asked what I could do with this issue and the customer service woman on the other end of the phone was wonderful!! I didn't get her name, but she was exceptional handling/listening to my problem. So she credited my account and reordered another one for me. They were on back order so I received it within two weeks. When installing the "second" set of accordian curtains with frame the same "exact" thing happened. Frustrated and very unhappy with this appliance I put the metal clips down the side of the torn accordian curtain. I haven't called again, but the customer service woman said that "if" it happens again...she would get in touch with Frigidaire directly because of the impossible construction of these replacement parts. So I put the 30 metal clips back on the ripped one and it works for me. Tape wasn't an option because there was no way to put it on each of the fins and then pull it closed, so the metal paper clips work like a dream. I don't have any expectations of the Frigidaire company looking into this issue but it would be nice if they had a resolution to this part issue.. ThanksFabulous customer service from "PartSelect.com
the new ones slid right in, with a little help from a screwdriver. Piece of cake.
