Water drip, door gasket and rack parts

I had a slow drip under the dish washer that originated from the solenoid shaft. The replacement o ring fixed it up. While I had it pulled out I replaced all the door seals and top rack rollers.

I ordered the parts on a Thursday evening and received them on Friday. WOW now that's fast! The parts came from Illinois and I live in Indiana so that might have helped but I was very surprised and glad for the quick service. I would defiantly order from Parts Select again. Thank you!

The top drawer of the dishwasher would extend past the support rails.

The top right rail, facing the dishwasher, has a self lock tab. Using pliers, straighten the lock tab, insert the cap and then restore the lock tab to it's original position.

Rollers were broken and end cap on one side was gone.

I was really suprised at how fast the parts arrived. We used some pliers to open the slide to remove the one end cap still in place. Took what was left of the old roller off and snapped the new ones on slide the rack back into place and replaced the end caps. This was really easy. took no time at all.

Ps259168 replaced broken end cap on upper dish rack

No tools needed for this half-minute repair. Just bend the flexible plastic tab on the back of the end cap until it slips into the metal rail and the end cap snaps into place. Couldn't be easier or simpler!

Worn/broken plastic parts were causing misery

Order arrived two days after being placed. Super easy to remove the old, worn, broken plastic parts and replace with new. Everything popped right on just as shown in the diagram. Our happiness with our dishwasher has increased 100%. BTW, thanks to the very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff at PartSelect.com -- next job, replace the ice maker in the freezer!

Rack end cap broke, top rack wheels slide off rail

Put end cap in dishwasher with movable part toward the back of the dishwasher. The free end of the movable part should be oriented at the top of the end cap. Put the lower half of the end cap into the rail behind the indented metal area so the widest part of the end cap is just opposite the hole where it should snap into place. Push the movable arm towards the back of the dishwasher until it fits under the upper rail. Then move the top half of the end cap into place under the top of the rail.

Parts needed for dish rack in my dish washer.

This is the second time I have order a part from this firm. They have been kind, helpful and sent my order to me immediately. The first part was a wheel for the dish rack in the dish washer. The second part was an end cap for the dish rack slide. I installed the parts within a minute. I am very pleased with their professional service and highly recommend them to anyone with an appliance problem where parts are needed quickly.

Internal plastic mechanical parts broke

Dishwasher rollers and other mechanical parts of plastic and rubber dry out and fail. A service call to an apppiiance repair person would have cost more than all the parts to repair the problem. Ordered them online on Sunday night, received them the following Wednesday, probably as fast as I could have had an appointment for a repairman. Changed out the parts in ten minutes and pocketed the change. $30 out of pocket instead of about $100, thanks to partselect.com.

CustomerDon from Lake Elsinore CA

One roller failed. Shaft disconnected from roller. Basket would drop down partially.

First, I was impressed by how easy it was to identify the parts needed for repair. The one inch grid and 3 pictorial projections is great.
In the process of removing my upper basket to gain access to the defective basket roller, I broke one of the Rail End Caps. At first I thought that I would have to replace the whole upper basket, but then I realized I could order a set of 4 rollers and an End Cap.
I ordered the parts on a Sunday night, got email confirmation on Monday. On Tueaday I checked the shipping status on-line to learn the parts shipped on Monday and arrived in a depot about 30 miles away in the middle of the night. They were put on a local truck Tuesday morning. My doorbell rang about 6 PM Tuesday night. Nobody was at the door but my package was there!
I retrieved the package with four Rollers and two End Caps.

About 15 minutes later I installed one roller and one End Cap. I carefully removed the remaining End Cap, slid the basket out, popped off the old broken roller and snapped the new one in place. I slid the basket back on the guides and replaced the End Caps (one new, one old). It took me about 15 minutes to do the job. Now that I'm "experienced", I think I could do it in about 4 minutes next time!
Decided to save the extra parts I ordered until next time something breaks! The other old rollers were in good shape but were a little stiff so I gave them a shot of Silicone Spray. Works absolutely great now!
Of course I have told my story to a few friends and they were impressed!
Thanks
