We broke the little nob that the snack drawer cover attaches to
It was pretty simple to pull out the snack drawer, remove the glass shelf and the front and back supports for the glass shelf. Then we removed the screws just for the end cap and pulled it out. We then had to remove the slide adjustment for the adjustable temperature control and positioned it onto the new Endcap. We then removed the metal slide that the drawer connects to and put it on the new endcap. Then we put the end camp back into the fridge and put all the screws back and put the refrigerator back together.
Take your time and pay attention to how you are taking things apart and you will easily be able to put things back together again.

The poorly designed plastic pin on the endcap broke
I took the three screws out on the side panel after removing the drawers. The end cap pulls to the side and forward. I swaped the lever from the old cap to the new and re-installed the piece. It couldn't be easier. 5 min.

Replace encap to operate self oening lid
THE UNIT IS 14 MONTHS OLD. OUR LAST UNIT WAS 10 YEARS OLD AND WHAT A DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY (THICKNESS OF PLASTIC PARTS) WITH THE NEW UNIT. THIS PART SHOULD NOT HAVE BROKE WITH RESPECT TO AGE AND TWO OLDER (50-55 YEAR OLD) USERS. THIS SITE WAS GREAT, WITHOUR IT I WOULD NOT HAVE ATTEMPTED THE REPAIR. TO SEE ILLUSTRATIONS TO HELP WITH EACH STEP SAVE ME I WOULD BET AT LEAST A HUNDRED DOLLARS IF NOT MORE. SIMPLE TOOL AND THIS SITE MADE THIS A VERY EASY REPAIR. I LISTED 30-60 MINUTES, THAT TIME ALSO INCLUDED REMOVING EACH PIECE AND CLEANING BEFORE REINSTALLING. EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE MADE SO FLIMSY (SP) THIS IS MAYTAG'S ICE2O. WE PAID OVER $2300.00 FOR THE UNIT. IY WORKS GREAT AND KEEPS FOOD SO MUCH BETTER THAN OUR PREVIOUS GE PROFILE FRIDGE. BUT THE GE WAS BUILT SO MUCH MORE HEAVY DUTY THAN THIS ICE2O. REALLY SAD THAT IT HAD TO BE REPAIRED SO EARLY IN IT'S LIFE. THE GE WAS REPAIRED THE FIRST TIME AFTER TEN YEARS OF USE, AND ONLY A DOOR PART, A CAM THAT HELPS TO CLOSE IT WITH JUST A TOUCH. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTS AND ADDS TO THIS SITE, IT GAVE ME JUST ENOUGH OF AN EDGE (THE ECONOMY ALSO HELPED!!!!) TO GET ME TO NOT ONLY TRY IT BUT ALSO DO IT! AGAIN MANY THANKS AND TO EVERYONE WHO WANTS OR NEEDS TO DO IT YOURSELF. JUST DO IT!

The right tab that held the deli drawer lid in place broke off.
I removed the drawers, removed the glass shelf, unscrewed the broken end cap (2 screws), took off the bracket and them reversed it to put the new one back on. Worked like a charm.

The meat/cheese drawer lid was caught and the tab busted off on the right side of the drawer
SUPER SUPER EASY!!! I ordered the part and it was delivered in less than 4 days ... however, the part sat in our laundry room for over a month + days. I think my husband was not certain how easy it would be to install ... he has little patience for this stuff. .. and we usually end up in a heated discussion on how to get these things completed. This time, I sat in the recliner and read the Sunday paper and stayed out of it. Less than 15 minutes and it was done!!! He even went further and cleaned the whole inside of the fridge and it looks like new again. You, too, can do this repair yourself and save the cost of a repairman. p/n PS2365144 ENDCAP qty 1 cost $21.48

Endcap snapped
Removed food from bottom of cabinet; dismantled drawer/pantry section, after removing drawers. Easy matter of removing 3 screws and installing new endcap by inserting 3 screws; re-assembled. Honestly, the toughest part of the job was washing the components before re-assembly. The easiest part, by far, was the ease of obtaining the needed parts - thank you! Great service!

Broken drawer cover hinge peg
Best advice I got...Remove all the drawers first, it gives plenty of working room!! Remove end cap carefully, as there are unseen pieces helping hold this part in place. Then remove various small parts from EC, again carefully, they do seem a little bit fragile. Remove drawer track last. Put track on new end cap first, then replace small parts, just screw back in place...done!!! Common sense and patience will go a long way, it is actually quite easy to do.

Plastic hinges broke on chef pantry door
I pulled out the pantry drawer, the two crisper drawers above, and the glass shelf and supports. I used a 1/2" nutdriver to take out 3 nuts and then reused them to put in the new pieces. Save your existing hardware since new nuts were not supplied. This was so easy! The right one was a little more challenging because of the temperature control. Take a minute to see how it works when you take it off the old one. That will help you recreate it on the new one. I am a fairly handy woman. I did ask one of my guy friends to help me find the right tool to use. This was really easy. I think the original design is cheap and poorly done, especially considering how much we paid for this fridge.

Broken door hinge for meat/cheese compartment
I removed the shelving above the compartment, then removed the meat/cheese compartment to get to the RH endcap being secured by two screws. Once I attached the tray sliding mechanism onto the new endcap, it was then reinstalled, using the two screws. Shelving was then reinstalled. I also purchased a new door for the meat/cheese compartment. I installed it on the two door hinges rather easily. On a level of 1 - 10 for toughness of the job, I'd give it a 2.
