Have an old GE profile dishwasher and the cap to the smart cap dispenser is gone, child playing and took it off, need to replace only the smart dispenser cap that screws on to existing assembly. Serial number to dw gm846432b. This is the smart cap dispenser, not the tiny little cap which i have received from another parts distributor. Please advise if i can buy the cap only, not the entire piece which is close to $50. Thanks. I'm told the part i need is the cap asm (by johnson brothers appliance) but all i need is the top cap, not the entire thing. The part they suggested is wd 12x10282. Help!:)))) thanks.

When i try to screw the soap dispensery cap on to the soap tank the tank recedes into the door and the cap will not grip i must have lost a lock washer to prevent tank from receding and allow the cap to grip . What part do i need.
