Touch pad for oven stopped responding properly
Easy repair for anyone!
First, cut the power to your stove to be safe (breaker switch in the fuse panel).
-Pull the stove out so you can get to the sides. There is a screw on either side, near the top of the side, and front. Unscrew both.
-Remove the 2 screws on the top panel, and 4 screws underneath the front lip.
-The front panel is now free. Peel off the old sticky touch pad, unplug the two ribbon connectors (push in on the locks on the sides of the plug-in), and set aside.
-Thoroughly clean the surface , removing all sticky residue.
-Plug the new pad in, peel back the sticky protective paper, and carefully align the new pad, pressing it firmly into place when lined up properly.
- Set the panel in place, replace all screws, push the stove into place, turn on the power and bake a cake!

Switch membrane oven controls not working.
Watched first warranty repair tech preform first costly replacement by removing 8 panel screws on face of oven. Same malfunction twice in last 4 years. The second and third replacement I did myself with just my trusty screw driver. Tip: Keep order receipt handy for easy reorders.

Number touch pad would only work on #4 and #1
First turn off circuit breaker to stove. Slide the stove out about 4 inches from the counter to expose the two phillips head screws, one on the left side and one on the right side of touch panel. Take out screws. Then take out four Phillip head screws on the bottom side of panel, this will set panel loose from stove. Carefully pull up touch pad (switch membrane) from control panel; it is sticky glued in place. Disconnect ribbon cables on switch membrane from control panel by depressing cable locks while pulling firmly. Remove switch membrane. Clean area before installing new membrane. Reassemble turn on power and you are done.

None of the numbers work on the touch pad, but the other features do on the same touch pad. Do you think it is this part?

Hi Randy, Thank you for the question. I suggest taking the panel apart to check the electrical ribbon. Sometimes they get a build up and need to the cleaned. Try to clean the connectors with a Q-Tip and make sure the ribbon did not come lose. If this does not fix the issue the Membrane might need to be replaced.

How can I test to ensure the new membrane works before removing the sticky back? Like others my buttons stopped working, I was down to just a couple working so I purchased the membrane part. I’ve got the stove disassembled but hate to get locked in to this if it is actually the control board.

Hi. All of the black panel buttons work and heat up, stove top and broil except the bake button. What should we trouble shoot and what part should we buy if cleaning it doesn't work?

We replaced the panel about a year ago. This did not help with the stove heating to over 500 degrees no matter what it was set at. We already replaced the thermostat and the thermal fuse. Now the panel doesn't work at all and starts to beep by itself for no reason. I have been using my wall oven and the range top to get by, but the beeping is getting on everyone's nerves. Thought I would get a new thermostat but with the panel not working, do I buy a new panel too?

Hello Kristie, thank you for reaching out. If your panel is beeping and not working, we suggest that you check the membrane, part number PS11750390, and the electronic control board, part number PS11746002. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
