Bearing on pump making noise and would go out soon.
I diagnosed the bearing by putting a 3/4 inch rubber hose up to my ear. I pointed it around until isolating the noise to the pump. The bearing was not servicable without replacing the pump. After diagnosing the problem I ordered the part. Getting the part from PartSelect.com was a snap. It arrived in one day. In 15 minutes I had it back to gether and working quiet and smooth.

13 years of daily use and parts needed replaced
The repair of the four parts, motor, timer, pump and belt only took about 3.5 hours. Simply find the screws or bolts holding the part in place and undo... The place the new part back to match the holes and bolt back down... Match the wiring of the motor by moving one wire at a time. (don't pull the all off at the same time) ... And the price is wonderful... I now have a washer that will last another 10 years or more... Very easy very satisfied.

Noisy pump
I placed the washer on a couple of work-horses so I could have access to the belt underneath. Then I used my nutdriver to removed the lower back panel. Disconnected both of the hoses, and removed the pump with my nutdrivers. Placed the new pump in place, placed the belt back on the pump's pully, tightened down the pump. I then plugged in the washer and put a little water in the washer to test that everything was working. After confirming that everything worked, I replaced the lower back panel and put the washer back in business. 30 minutes from beginning to end ... and a good time was had by all.

Worn bearings on pump, awful screeching noise
Unplug. Open the front panel (2 clips, 2 hex head metal screws), remove the two hose clamps and hoses from the pump, remove 3 hex head screws holding the pump...bingo.. in with the new pump, hoses and panel go back....put the drive belt back on...the wife is back in buisness.. Note to all husbands out there, mess up on a few loads of laundry (mix red with white and her unmentionables turn a hideous pink) and you never have to do laundry again !!!! Tip to all, if you have a wet-vac, attached it to the discharge hose of the washer to remove the standing water in the pump.
Right part, right price, delivered right on time Thank you Parts Select

Washer was leaking water.
Removed front of washer following instructions on partselect.com (used putty knife to release catches). Removed hoses and belt from pump, then removed and replaced the pump. Reattaching the belt was the only awkward task.

Water pump bearing broke
I replaced the water pump and belt. The part you sent me was an exact match, so I had no problems what-so-ever fitting the new part into place.
Thanks
