This hose comes with standard 3/4" female fittings on both ends.
Changing the springs was a ...snap. The more delicate task was to figure out how to get to them; for this model, the back panel comes off (after removing 3 screws, the drain hose and drain hose plastic coupler, removing the 2 screws holding the control panel, pivoting the control panel and finally removing two spring clips. Also, the plastic water diverter takes a little bit of patience to be unhooked from its slots in the back panel as it will not slide out with the back panel. With the back panel off, the entire "shell" can be removed, exposing the guts. I twisted the tub to release the tension in the suspension springs and replaced them, one by one. Finally, the counterweight spring. I also lubed the support pads to allow for a "friendlier" leveling. Re-assemble, replace the old and cracked water supply hoses, and time for a beer and my girlfriend's obligatory OOOOHs and AAAAHs... All in all (cleanup and test included..) about one hour.

I started by shutting off the hot/cold water and unplugging the washer...from there, the back panel(secured with approx. eight bolts) was removed; it proved to be the project's most difficult task. The inlet valve was very easy to remove: removed a couple bolts that secured it to the back panel, disconnected the two electrical plugs and water fill hose. The new valve was installed by reversing the above steps; take note to follow the supplied directions as the electrical plugs must go on the valve in a prescribed manner. The back panel actually goes on easier than it comes off. When reinstalling back panel, be sure the water diverter is properly positioned before securing back panel. The diverter can be seen by opening the washer's lid...it's the plastic thing that channels water into the tub. After reassembly, new water supply hoses and washer were installed, moved washer back into place, plugged it in and all worked like new.
