Ice maker just stopped working
I removed the two screws that hold the ice maker door. I then removed the single screw on the right underside of the ice maker. I depressed the plastic "catch" on the left underside of the assembly and the whole thing just pulled straight out. I then disconnected the wire harness.
The module cover is removed, then the module itself is easily removed by removing three screws. The assembly is just as easy.
A few hours later, I had a half bucket of ice!

Stopped making ice
Very, very easy. Went to PartSelect and watched the repair video. Took the ice maker out, removed the end cover and found that there was a burned circuit on the board. Went back to PartSelect and ordered the part on a Thursday afternoon. Received the part Friday morning! 15 minutes to replace the part and now we have ice again. This is my second order through PartSelect and both times the cause was easy to determine, instructions were clear, and delivery of the parts were quick. Very good web site.

Ice maker quit working
It was very easy, I took ice maker apart and immediately figured the motor had burned out you could smell it. I looked at parts and easily found the exact part part I needed. It was sent to me in just a couple of days and I put it back together in minutes and it was making ice again in no time. I'm sure I saved myself slot by doing it myself.

Ice make didn't make ice
read a lot of how-to's and forums, but it was the video's posted by partselect on YouTube that intrigued me to try my own hand at trying to find the correct part for the fix. this is why i ordered from partselect rather than search elsewhere. I ordered on Wednesday night and had the ice-maker making ice on Friday night. I used the electric tape to hold the flapper and light switch off to simulate the door being closed.

The icemaker was stuck with ice cubes blocking ejection
After reading solutions to my problem on your website I ordered the part which fixes 50% of the problems. When I got back after Christmas the part had arrived. I removed the Icemaker and replaced the part. It took aprox. 20 minutes for the job. It was easy. Now we have ice cubes again.

The ice maker has not worked for several years
I watched the video that was offered after I placed the order which was just over 5 minutes in length. I am not totally inept but thought it would take 20 - 30 minutes but it took less than 15, and I even cleaned the floor while the fridge was pulled out. The video showed unplugging the ice maker but mine was hard wired so I did not have to. One reason I did not get this fixed when it first stopped working is I didn't want to pay the service call to diagnose and then for the repair. For about $60.00 I have a working ice maker. Thanks Parts Select!

Ice maker stopped making ice
I opened the front of the ice maker and saw that a piece of plastic was broken off. It was the piece that connected up to the ice ejector. Since it was broken, the motor would turn to eject the ice, but it could not drive the ejector. All I really need to replace was that small piece of plastic, but the individual pieces are not sold separate. I had to by the complete motor assembly, but it was much easier to replace the entire piece. Cost me about $60. A repair man would have charged that and much more.
