Replace shattered outer door glass
This is not the best design. You'll need to have an extra set of hands to hold the trim pieces in place. Remember the glass is positioned outside [on top of]the trim pieces. Since no instructions are provided with the part and not having seen the oven with the glass door in place, the major problem was figuring out how things went together. The top handle MUST be removed and the bottom trim need not be (although I had already done so). After removing the top handle the glass slips into the bottom trim easil
... Read morey, but the edges set ON TOP of the side plastic trims (left and right), not under the edge as it would appear if you have never seen the original door in place. Properly positioning the glass door then lets the top handle slip back on and the two screws replaced to hold it all to gether. Another pair of hands helps hold it all together until the top handle is fixed back in place. It's quite simple in reality, and instructions would have made it so.
Checked to see that I had all the parts I needed. Installed bottom door trim then side trim pieces. Do not tighten screws. Install door handle with top trim attached over glass. Tighten screws just snug all around.
Removed 3 screws holding the glass door bracket. Placed glass into door holders, had another person hold glass while I replaced the removable bracket screws.

Replacing the outside glass oven door cover. Not sure what is top and bottom.
There is an arched side to the white frame on the glass. Does that go on top?
Also there is a shiny side to the white paint and a matte side. Does the shiny side go out?

How does this part attach to my appliance and is it really the right part for the door? The glass that shattered was the exterior but i want to make sure it’s the exact part for my oven.

Hello Natty, thank you for your question. Yes, that is the correct replacement part for your unit. The door is held into place by trim pieces that go around the door, and the vent and handle at the top. I hope this helps!

Exterior glass panel having and hard time finding this part number exactly

A second one is AER5330BAW0 for White and the part number is PartSelect Number PS11748550. The third is AER5330BAB0 for Black and the part number is PartSelect Number PS11748551. We hope this helps.
