pull the element out and slide the new element in.No tools needed,it's that easy.
When we bought our home less than a year ago, we had three functional burners on our 40" wide 50's classic Kelvinator (not close to standard size these-a-days). After a few months of use, two more burners went out for good and we were stuck using the back left burner for all of our cooking. I opted for the premium burners and made sure to compare my terminals with the ones online to be sure they mounted the same. I removed the burners and terminals, clipped the wires going into the terminals, and removed the top of the stove. I followed the directions that came with the new terminals, pushed in the new burners and viola! All four burners now work. I gave the stove a general cleaning and now my 1954 Kelvinator looks and cooks like it is brand new. It was easily the best $109 I've spent on my home.
removed old terminal block . cut wires and spliced new terminal block and insulated with shrink wrap. Very eazy
I ordered the correct parts(elements) and PartSelct sent the correct Frigedaire substitute parts. One of the 3 piece metals underneath the element is too long and the element does not fit on top of the bowl of the burner. Frigidaire should make the right substitute parts (elements) for that model. The terminal block took sometime to replace and it works with the old element.
It was simple.............the range-top tilts up so I proped it with a stick of wood, pulled out the old burner and plugged in the new one (when I saw how inexpensive the new element was I orderd two to replace the other 8" because it didn't look long for this world either). The whole operation took less than 10 min. no tools or batteries required!!!!!!!!!.........no-mus-no -fus.Your prices were the lowest I found on-line, keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!
I unplugged the dead burner and plugged in the new burner. Very easy. No tools needed.
Removed element by loosening two screws, disconnected heater element and connected new element and reattached to oven wall. Turn on oven to check for heater to work. Confirmed heater worked. Repair complete.
snap out the old one and snap in the new
Just replace the parts. Too easy for an old man.
Pulled old burner out, pushed new one in. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Heats very quickly, now.
The bake element just unbolts from the rear of the oven then it pulls twoard you so you can access the connections. The burners just pull upward and disengage from their connectors. Topped off with the nice new trays and it looks and works like new!!! .......but lots cheaper
