Wheels keep falling off dish rack.

So easy and the posts on the site were incredibly helpful in determing what part i needed. The wheels on the dish rack inside the dishwasher kept falling off. I had to keep lifting the dish rack in and out of the dish washer to load and unload it. Unbelievably annoying. I popped the old wheel axels out of the exisiting wheels and replaced them with the new wheel axels I ordered from PartSelect. Then I attached the wheels back on the dish rack and it was right back to normal.

Wheels keep falling off

So impressed! I got my parts 2 days after I ordered them. Installation was super easy. I wonder why I waited so long to order! It was such a quick easy fix. The wheel axel is redesigned from the original ones. No more fighting to get my lower rack pulled out! Thanks for great service Parts Select!

Wheels were broken, continually fell off

Actually, given the lack of instructions, I installed the wheels incorrectly. Ordered a complete new bottom rack. What a difference! GE re-engineered a poorly designed product and the new rack with improved wheel installation is great.
One complaint. My product information tells me the racks are guaranteed for 5 years. My rack also had some rust.I tried to call GE but got only very unhelpful voice prompts. Do not have GE rapairmen in area. Rack was just under 5-year warranty when I started trying to contact GE.
But it was worth the money to get the new rack.

Lower rack wheels kept falling off

I ordered the replacement wheels and axels. I popped the axels into the wheel holes and then snapped the assembly onto the rods on the lower rack. SIMPLE!! Should have done it a long time ago and could have save a lot of frustration with a sliding rack that didn't slide very well.

Front right wheels falling off lower dishwasher rack

The two lower right wheels kept falling off, then one fell down and was partly melted by the heating unit on the bottom. I went on line, read some of the do it yourself repairers to see what they did. Looked up the parts, (used the back wheels to put on the front)ordered it, delivery was just a few days and within 10 minutes done. It was just that easy. Thank you for making it that easy, a lot of us are trying to save where we can these days and that helped a lot.

The wheels fell off the bottom rack of the dishwasher

The replacement studs that were suggested fixed the problem that we were having. The fix was easy and took less than ten minutes to take the broken studs out and snap the new ones into place. The studs are designed to hold onto the rack much tighter than the original studs and completely fixed the problem of the wheels falling off anytime you tried to move the bottom rack.

The axles on the rack wheels kept coming unclipped

I set the rack upside down on the counter. Snapped the new axles into the new wheels. Snapped the wheels onto the rack. The new style axles are better than the factory parts. They look different in the picture so I was not sure if I was getting the right thing but they worked great. Took longer to take the parts out of the bags than to install. Nice to have the rack slide in and out properly again.

Original wheel fell off and melted

I took the parts, put them together in literally a minute and they worked like a charm. All for under $10. I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner. I had gone to a big DIY store where they flipped a parts card for me to call. I went online - found you had my parts, ordered over the weekend and the parts arrived early Tuesday morning.

All of America should work as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The lower rack wheels kept coming off

I examined the wheels and noticed that they were actually fine, it was just the clip on axles that had worn out. I had recently used a dishwasher cleaner, I think that was the straw that broke the camels back. The replacement axles that I ordered were actually a bit different than the original. It turns out they had been greatly improved, so the new ones snapped easily into place by hand. The lower rack rolls perfectly, like new!

Wheels on lower rack broke off

Quck and easy to put on 8 new wheels. A must do for anyone with this dishwasher because the old wheels were poorly designed. I can't believe I waited so long to order them. They arrived within 2 days and took 5 minutes to put on. Be sure to order all 8 replacements wheels and 8 wheel axles.

Replace wheels on dishwasher basket

The parts arrived promptly following my order. I needed to replace four wheels on the dishwasher slide-out basket. It was easy to order using the visual parts-explosion images on the site. I needed to order wheels and saw they each required a hub, so the ordering was easy.
The assembly needed no tools, and the repacement parts were better in fact than the original parts they replaced, as they snapped easily onto the basket.
The entire process, from ordering to assembly, was a good experience, and I bookmarked the site for my future parts-replacement requirements.
