The temp. Dial didn't hold tight and wouldn't set dryer.
When I received the dial replacement I just removed the old one and put the new one on. Worked like a charm.

Dryer "start" knob unable to torque the on mechism any longer
It was as simple as pulling off the bad knob and sliding on the replacement. Thankfully the repair was only a 2 second process, but even more, i'm thrilled I found partselect.com to so quickly purchase the replacement. Easy!

The knobs on my washer/dryer broke.
I pulled the old knobs, i used pliers to remove the little metal pieces, it was real simple and the parts fit exactly like the old ones.

Knob fell off - start switch shaft broken from pliers
Unplug the dryer!! I warned my partner of this at first, but she didn't listen.... got quite a little shock from the wires. Removed the back panel with a phillips head screwdriver, removed the connecting wires from the starter box. One was a bit snug, so I loosened it with some flat-nosed pliers. Twisted the unit and it popped right out! Once the part came in I popped it back in, twisted it until it locked into place, put the connecting wires on and replaced the panel. The knob snapped on easily and it all took about 10 minutes total to do! I'm not much of a repairman or electrician and this was SUPER easy!
