Starter knob broke off the machine
I pulled off the broken knob's metal shaft that remained attached to the operating spindle and slid the knob onto the machine.

Knob was broken
No tools was required. Last month the knob broke on my washer. I done a Google search and parts select came up. I felt comfortable ordering online from them because of their reputation. I got the part faster than I expected....my wife was happy too!

Timer knob and starter knob needed to be replaced
I was amazed that the knobs were received the next day. I took them out the box and put them in place. no tools needed. Thank you PartSelect.

On / off switch broke
1st. unplug dryer
2nd. remove housing / 4 allen head screws
3rd. remove wiring clips from switch
4th. remove switch / install new
5th. install wiring clips
6th. test dryer
7th put housing back on

I had 3 knobs break on my washer and had been using pliers to turn them. This is not the first time I've had broken knobs either. I think I must either be a hercules or they are poorly made!
I opened the pkg. and pushed them on!

Knob that turns on the dryer had been broken for over 4 years.
It is so great to be able to turn my dryer on now without using my bare hand to turn the shaft that the knob was to go on. Nothing needed other than pushing knob in place. I so wish I had thought of looking online for a replacement part 4 years ago. Thanks!
