The handle to the door had been broken.
We had to remove the screws and take the door off the washing machine then the door glass ring. Replace and put it back on. It was really easy and save alot in repair bills.

Door handle broke off at the top
Like another commenter, my teenage daughter ripped the handle off at the top in a huff. My husband simply unscrewed the broken handle and replaced it with the new one. We now make sure to open the door from the middle of the handle, not the top.

Very simple fix - two screws out - replace handle and reinsert screws. The best part was how quickly I received the parts.

No spin, broken handle, everything else worked
after clearing shelving. It took about 20 minutes to remove the dryer stacked on top, along with the gas line and the vent hose..... Two screws and gently pry the back up with a screwdriver and the top pops off. open the door and remove the 2 screws while reaching down inside and the switch come right up with its 3 plug harness. swap the old switch unit for the new one and slip it back down into place and reinstall the screws, and done in about 15 minutes.
my belt is in good shape so I will save the one I bought for later. the handle is 2 screws and took less than 2 minutes. It took about 20 minute to put the washer/dryer units back together and against the wall and running

Handle was broken off
After locating the two screws on the inside of the door, I used a phillips screw driver, in a counter-clockwise motion, to take the screws out. I then removed the remaining pieces of the broken handle and then positioned the new handle in the holes seating it firmly in place. The handle had to be held into place while I negotiated the screws back into the holes turning the screws in a clockwise manner.

The control console broke when we stacked some heavy item on the edge of this front load washer and the door handle broke from wear and tear.
First I removed the visible screws on the front of control panel. When I tried to remove it I realized it was also being held in place by the top coverof the washer. I next removed the screws holding the top cover in place and slid it back uncovering a few more screws holding the control console in place. The wiring pane was also held on the console with screws so i roved them and popped the old console out. After that I just replaced everything in reverse order and screwed the new console back in place. The door handle was alot more simpler. All I did there was open the door and remove the two visible screws on the inside of the door and the broken handle came off. I placed the new handle in place and screwed it on. These repairs were simple and once done I realized that it took no time at all.

Washing maching door handle broke off. The replacement part cost 75% less than the manufactures part, and fits perfectly
arrived in 2 days. Using this company the replacement part cost me 75% less than the manufactures part, and it fits perfectly. It has a Slightly different color, but the price difference was huge. It was Very easy to install in only 2 minutes with a phillips screwdriver using the 2 screws provided. The manufaturer's part was $80 plus $11.00 shipping. This part cost me $25 with shipping. Amazing!
