The repair was quite easy. This is a Culligan unit installed by GE and we were supplied a number of filter elements when we purchased the house. We eventually used the supplied extras and had no idea what a problem getting replacements might be. Culligan at some point in time ceased to supply these filter elements and the GE replacement

It would appear that the housing which holds my filter is cracked. I hate to order the filter and adapter here and not solve the problem. Can the plastic piece that is fastened to the back of the refrigerator insides be ordered? I would think that with the plastic piece, adapter, and filter, i could stop this leak.

Hello Scott, thank you for your question. I would recommend replacing the Water Filter Housing with Tubing Part Number: WR17X20862. This is the part that is fastened to the back of the fridge. The filter attaches to the housing. The filter, part number MWFP, is an updated water filter. If you have never installed the updated filter or your old filter was made by Culligan, you may need the adapter to install the filter. The adapter is Water Filter Adapter Part Number 220347. Thank you for your question. If you have just replaced the filter and water is dispensing slowly from the it, the filter may not have been flushed before use. Please check your owner's manual for specific instructions on how to flush your filter. How do you put in an adapter so a replacement water filter will fit.They do not make the original filter and you have to use a GE mwf filter which requires an adapter. How do you install the adapter?

Need faucet adapter coupling for moveable dishwasher. Both hoses go into hose adapter that should slide onto the faucet. The hose adapter has 4 ridges, so the faucet adapter needs to have 4 groves for tight fit. We were sent wpw10254672 adapter which doesn't seal
