The door gasket was the easiest. The old one pulled right out. The new one went right back in very easily. I put some Dow 111 silicone on the bottom inch or so where the door slides against the gasket.

The repair to the lower wash rack could be done with my fingers. Purchasing 4 parts was cheaper than buying a whole new rack.

Missing/extra rack parts???
I purchased an 8 year old house, and had some extra tines and a bracket for the dishwasher. I had no idea what they were or how they mounted! By using the excellent illustrations at partselect, I figured out I was missing a couple of mounting brackets; but the real bonus was the video which showed exactly how the brackets and tines were installed and used. A simple purchase plus ultra fast delivery, and I now have two very usable foldaway tines. THANKS! I'll be back...and will share with friends when they have an appliance problem.

Minor annoyances I lived with for far too long
Haven't used the bottom door shelf of my refrigerator for years, lived with a lint filter on my hand-me-down dryer that was taped with electrical tape since the day I inherited it, and loaded and unloaded my dishwasher with irritation because of a broken clip on the bottom rack. Ordered the parts from PartSelect and got them in just 2 days. Fixed all three problems in about 15 minutes total. It's like getting new appliances...why didn't I do this sooner?

Damaged silverware bracket and broken clips

Convertible section in lower rack won't stay up
Remove and replace support/mounting brackets by hand. no tools required. Very simple - wish I had done it a year ago.

The adustable peg clip on the bottom rack had broken

The plastic peg clips that allow converting the lower rack in the dishwasher broke. We could still swing up the pins to convert from bowls to dishes, but it was not proper.
These two little clips just snap in. The biggest problem was unloading that basket (my wife has to have the dirty dishes off the counter pronto). After that, just snapped the old retianers out and inserted the new. Be sure to note where the clips go. The can be installed too close together and will not do a good job of holding those little pegs in place.

Roller in upper rack cracked where screw entered
Removed endcap on rack, took out old part, had to glue together the support in the middle of the roller because the part that came was different than what was original.
I did not order the proper screw or something, because there was nothing online showing exact roller with the correct female screw receptacle. Also, screw ordered was like old one, but did not work in roller assembly that came.
Not sure if glue will hold up long under heat of dishwasher.

A couple of plastic clips had broken which held wire plate guides in place.
The replacement was easy. The parts fit fine. I had to figure out how they fit. After a couple of tries, I got them positioned right. A diagram might have helped a little. They were reasonably priced. The diswasher is good for another 5 years.
