Missing parts
Over the years I had wheels and clips turn up missing. I could not find my model number. It was not where it was supposed to be so I used the great pictures to figure out what I was missing. I guessed right because they fit perfectly. I had three wheels missing on my lower rack. I cannot believe I messed around opening and closing it for so many years without these easily ordered wheels. It took me all of 2 minutes to add everything. The best part of this order was the shockingly FAST delivery time. I ordered the parts after midnight on Tuesday and they were delivered, at my doorstep, on Thursday...just regular delivery. GREAT JOB BY THIS COMPANY....I WILL RETURN!!

Wheel had broken off along with the folding tines' clip
All I had to do was to snap the parts into place. I also had someone come here to find a leak in my dishwasher. It was in the latch and seal that kept the soap dispenser closed. They wanted to charge me over $50 when the part only cost less than $9 with shipping. I just ordered it and installed it myself. Piece of cake!

Some of the fold up/down tines in the lower basket were defective as well as the door handle was broken
The wheels and clip were just snapped in to replace old or missing ones. The door latch required the inside cover of the door assembly to be loosen enough to remove the old latch and replace the new latch. approximately ten screws were involved.

Clips holding folding tines broken
The clips holding the folding tines on the lower rack had broken, so the folding racks were flopping around. I entered the model number an PartSelect popped up exactly the right diagrams to find the parts I needed - I even found the handle for the silverware tray that I didn't know was missing. I ordered before noon, and the parts arrived the next day, all at a very reasonable cost (even shipping!) the parts just snapped in place. I'm very, very pleased.

Adjustable rack had broken
Simply had to replace the clips in the correct position. Would have been a five minute job if I had noticed which way around the old parts went before removing them from the dishwasher to find replacements. It's amazing hoe many permutations there were before it all fit together perfectly.

Two clips holding the adjustable shelf had broken off.
I didn't know how to put in the new one clips until I looked up a picture of them in place, on-line. Once I saw the picture, it was a matter of clipping the new ones in place.

Broken bottom on silverware basket and broken hinge on rack
I removed old hinge and snapped in new one.The new basket was identical to the original and PartSelect.com was the only source I found that had it in stock. I took the old handle off the broken basket with a screw driver and snapped it in place on new basket, job done.

Clip on adjustable peg was broken, sleeves were missing
I just snapped out the clips, replaced them with the new clips and sleeves and replaced them. It was a little confusing getting the configuation just right but after that it was a snap.

The dish rack had two sets of adjustable tines that had never worked.
I ordered two clips just in case. Turns out I needed both of them. Since I hadn't seen the adjustable tines installed, it took some time to figure out how to put the assembly together.
For some reason I had the dishwasher for 7 years before it occurred to me to order the replacement parts. It's much more efficient to use with the adjustable tines properly installed as I can load approximately 25% more plates than before.

Clips to hold the folding tines on the bottom rack were broken; also replaced some wheels on same rack.
It took awhile to figure out how to install the peg clips; I still have my manual, but there is no diagram or picture to show how they are installed (and not on the internet either - not even Amana's site), but I figured it out... so here are the instructions I have created.
On the rear part of the lower rack, you will notice that there is a row of larger spaces between the bars; we are only concerned with the 3 farthest right spaces & the 6 bars that create them.
Install both clips with the ‘flange’ that wraps around the bar inside the square; this will position the clamps that hold the clip in place on the outside edge of the bar.
Place one clip on the far right bottom bar; place another clip on the left hand side of the 3rd space (4th bar from the bar the other clip was attached to on the right).
There are small ‘legs’ that protrude from the folding tines on one end of each; place the tines so that the 2 large tines on both are on the outside, the 4 straight tines are on the inside of the squares when they are folded down, which will put the little ‘legs’ down by the far left square.
Snap the tines into the small clamps on the ends of the clips, so that the loops on the ends will rotate up into the larger clamps when the straight tines are folded down, which will hold them in place.

Hose leaked and ruined our wood flooring
Replacing the hose was straight forward. However, to remove the top end you must remove the top sprayer. While gently pulling on the sprayer it popped off. There is a plastic piece that holds it in place which broke. Finishing the install was delayed until this part could be obtained. I would recommend that this piece be puchased when the hose is purchased.
