Wanted to "renew" cook top
The drip pans, burner knobs and electric surface elements are easily removed and replaced. The new receptacles for the burners were NOT easy to replace, but electricians were on hand to install when they replaced the cook top into the new counter top. Even the electricians had to read the instructions - and remove the control panel to replace one of the receptables. Looks like a new cook top.

Broken glass on cooktop
Simply removed screws holding glass and frame to cook elements and replaced with new glass and frame.
The replacement was very easy. The glass and frame come as a unit.
I also purchased a complete element assembly. Replacing the element assembly requires no tools and no work ... simply remove broken assemply and place new assembly into the range.

The drip bowls were old and stained; the knobs were so worn that they could hardly be read.
OK, this was easy, and it's a good thing 'cause I'm so blonde when it comes to repairs. But I will have to say this, my Jenn-Air looks like new and it is 29 years old. Thanks Partselect for making my repairs so quick and easy.

Fan switch burned out, burner switch only worked on high.
Well, since the circuit breaker blew when the fan switch burned out, I was hoping to get a new counter-top range out of this. But, no such luck. My son opened up the control module (2 screws under the fan grill) and found the problem. Then I decided that if I needed to replace ONE part, I'd replace ALL of the parts that didn't work and were worn out. First I turned off the breaker all the way, then, since the module was open anyway (it pulls out about 2 inches), I only had to remove the old fan switch using the socket set, and replace it, wire-for-wire with the new one. The flange needed to be filed down a bit because it was wider than the original, but not a problem to do. I had to use the original nuts to hold in the new one. The new ones are smaller. Just used the socket set in reverse ....done! The burner switch and knobs were a little more of a problem but only because ordering them didn't follow the rules...I needed series 3 parts, even though I had a "Run 01" range top. With the help of a very nice customer service rep, I got the correct parts the next day and replaced the burner swich the same way...used a socket set to loosen and remove the old switch and connected the new one wire-for-wire, and again needed to use the original washer and nut. (The wrong model that I initially received had a new washer and nut in the bag with the switch.) But, again, no problem. The control knobs just pull off and push on...simple. Now that I had a nearly new range top, I spent another 2 hours REALLY cleaning it (Dawn Power Dissolver is GREAT!). Looks almost like new! I guess I won't be getting a new range top for another 22 years now.....

Burners wouldn't heat
We bought our home in 1993 with the Jenn-Air range top. It was old then, but all 4 burners worked. Over the years, I bought a grill cartridge from an appliance stove. (It would have been much cheaper thru you guys!) I loved the stove. Several years ago one of the burners stopped working and the stove really looked old and not clean! After pricing replacement rangetops, I wanted to order from the appliance stove again, but found your website. Easy to find the right replacement parts. I just removed the old cartridge and placed the new one end. That took less than 1 minute. My husband replaced the knobs and the kit with the logo. I'm guessing maybe 30min to 1 hr. He turned the breaker off to the stove, then remove the knobs and cover. He cleaned the wires and stuff!! At Christmas, all our grown children thought I had bought a new stove!! My stove is better than ever!! I will definitely buy from you guys again!!! So easy!!

The control knobs on our otherwise "healthy" jenn-air range were worn off and did not turn stove on correctly.
Simply pulled the old ones off and pressed on the new control knobs. It took less than 10 minutes, saved us from replazcing an otherwise nice looking range top, and made a big deposit in my "Honey do" account. I just wish they still sold the clock and timer units to fit this stove. Oh and yes, the prices were very reasonable too. Thank You Brad Harris, Illinois

Switches were worn out (2) and shorting out. Throwing the breaker. Actually I think the ladies boyfriend/ fiance' tried to replace the knobs that were broken with universal knobs. They didn't fit so he forced them and broke the switches internally.
Shut off the breaker! Removed down draft grill. Removed two phillips head screws and lifited switch plate out. Removed switches (2) and made wiring diagram as I went. Looked up Jenn-Air on line and ordered parts. Lost wirihng diagram in the process but still had two switches wired . Replaced all four switches. Everything working great. However while I was waiting on switches to arrive, somebody at the house was fooling with the switch plate and broke the on red indicater lens so now I'm ordering that. Oh well....
