Broken latch
Checked various online sites for repair tips. Shut off the power at the main breaker. Used a star bit in my cordless driver and removed interior portion of door. Marked the wires and removed the old latch. Install new latch and plugged in the wiring. Reinstall the interior portion of door and turned on the power. Done. Very simple repair. Very fast delivery from PartSelect. Thank you!

Broken latch
Repair was a piece of cake, start to finish was less then 15 minutes. It took longer to find the correct circut breaker to turn off the power to the dishwasher as the previous owner of the home didn't mark the panel box very well. Very pleased with dealing with your company, your website was easy to use, ordering was a breeze, part was delivered quicker then expected, the repair was very easy to complete.

Door latch handle broke
Removed the stainless screws that hold the door and the panel together. Seperate the two,no need to remove or unplug anything else. Unplugged the two connectors on the old latch and plug them on the micro switches on the new latch and handle. Used a large flat blade screw driver to pry the connectors off, they are on real tight. Aleign the latch with the screws/holes in the white panel and put the two back together. Easy!!! Also, thanks to PartSelect for the great service, great parts, and best price ever. GJB

Broken latch -door difficult to open
Flip off circuit breaker to dishwasher. Remove 11 screws holding inner door panel to door. Pull inner panel back to separate from door. Disconnect microswitch connectors from old switch noting location. Install new latch assy. It mounts with two of the door panel screws. Like others my plastic tabs were broken so I added some Silicone adhesive to give it a little more support. Reinstall the panel with the 11 screws. Turn the breaker on and you are done.

Broken handle
I read all the repair stories online for this part#. The top story had exactly the right steps. I did the whole repair in less than 15 minutes. It took me longer to turn off the power to the dishwasher than it did to repair. I unscrewed the 11 screws around the edge on the inside of the door (used small electric screwdriver so that went really fast), and used the pliers to help disconnect the two wired connections. Connected the new latch and put back screws. Done. Sweet!
My customer service rep was top notch on the phone. Really patient and helped me figure out which part I needed. I would recommend to anyone.

The release handle no longer worked.
After throwing the circuit breaker, I removed the 8 torx screws holding the interior door to the exterior door, which also released the door latch mechanism. I then used pliers to remove two wiring connectors from the latch. Then, simply, attached the wiring connectors to the lugs on the new latch assembly, positioned the latch assembly, then put the torx screws back. Threw the breaker back on, and it was done.

Broken latch handle on dishwasher door
Remove screws that hold the inside door cover. The latch assembly is held in place by two of the cover screws. The broken latch falls out when you loosen and partially lift the cover. Slide the new latch assembly in and re-install the cover.

Pretty straightforward but...
Unscrew the panel, unplug the old handle, screw eveything back, right? Yes, but getting the old connectors unplugged can be a bit of a challenge. I ended up (carefully) using a pair of pliers to remove the plugs. Be careful though, the connectors can be bent if you get too aggressive.

Dishwasher handle was broken
First I turned of the electric to the dishwasher. I unscrewed the hex shaped screws along the inside of the door. I carefully pulled the inner panel away from the door. I then removed the connections to the inner workings connected to the handle. They were hard to remove and took pliers and a lot of force to pull them off. I replaced the piece with the new one. I easily attached the electrical connections to the new piece and reattached the inner panel of the door. It was quite easy, and I am definitely not mechanically inclined.
