Dryer would not start and the interior light was not working.
My husband raised up the top of the dryer and removed the heating coil and fuse w/bracket. Installed new fuse in that one. He then proceeded to go further down into the dryer and found the bracket with the other 2 fuses. He replaced those. Put all parts back together. Cleaned out all the built up lint. Plugged it in and it works like the day it was new. Your comment section and video repair clip of this was tremendous in helping us determine what our problem was. About $35.00 total for this repair. Thank you

My dryer would not start
After viewing the video and looking at the problem at hand, it was relatively easy to simply replace the parts. At first I wasn't really sure this was the problem, but I figured, if it worked, then it cost me about $30, so it was worth the chance. Otherwise it would have been a new dryer. Hey, it worked, and the video made it easy. The only somewhat difficult part was maneuvering around some of the sharp, edgy parts of the machine. I dropped a screw and used an extension magnet to pick it up. Overall, it was easy. Thanks for the help.

The dryer had stopped working and the light wasn't working either.
I read the repair instructions on the site and watched the video. I followed someone else's suggestion and took the front of the dryer down to clean out the area below the lint trap. I know why the fuse blew! Then I was able to replace the fuse and the high limit fuse. Let me tell you, the instructions are really easy - I'm a 43 year old woman and my 4 1/2 year old son was helping me. We managed to fix the dryer before Daddy got home! Thank you!

Dryer wouldn't turn on
IMPORTANT!!! Before doing this repair I had already replaced thermal fuse kit and the dryer worked for a few days but the fuses blew again. After digging deeper I realized the fuses were blowing because there was too much lint disturbing the air flow behind the lint catcher on the FRONT panel. Found instructions on Parts select to remove front panel and clean that area leading into the blower fan. I followed instructions and then replaced the thermal fuse kit and the dryer has since been working normally.

The dryer will not start
I went to the part selects website, put my dryers part number into the "find your part" field,,, on the next page i clicked on my symptom "will not start",, next page pops up with what part is bad and a video of a repairman actually doing the repair step by step (very cool). I purchased the recommended part, got the parts in a couple of days and did the repair myself,"fantastic". I love this website, I saved a lot of money in repairs and saved a lot of my time bringing it too and from the repair shop. I will recommend this website to all of my friends. Jimmy

My dryer died mid-load with a slight burning smell.
I googled burning smell dead dryer and read that most often the problem was either due to a clogged lint vent. After checking the power source and the lint vent with no results, was suggested that the thermal fuse needed to be replaced. When replacing the fuse, it is also recommended to replace the thermostat, both come in the high limit kit. After receiving my kit and googling dryer schematics I was able to figure out how to replace the fuse and high limit thermostat. When I first tested it I could still smell a little burning, but it dissipated and works well yet again! I had to replace the drum belt last year, and both times I've done my own repairs it has cost me less than $25 for the parts. Being a female on a budget, I was extremely pleased and proud to have figured out how to do the repairs on my own. I appreciated being able to order the parts as well as the speedy shipping!

Dryer would not start.
I followed the instructions outlined in the install video provided by PartSelect. As Steve mentioned in the video, it is an easy repair, and following his instructions made it even easier. Finding PartSelect when I googled the dryer's problem was a God-sent. PartSelect provided not just the parts and repair instructions, but the necessary info to properly diagnose the trouble with my dryer. You can bet I will be referring all my friends to PartSelect.com when they need to service their appliances.

Dryer wouldn't start
With the help of partselects great website, I determined that the thermal fuse had blown. I found the cause was an almost complete blockage of lint from the lintrap to the blower. Removed the front panel and cleaned lint , replaced highlimit and fuse. Works great. quick delivery of parts and instruction video on website made this repair possible.

After using your service to determine the problem I order the parts which came very quickly. I review your video on the repair and then jumped into the job. I check the 15 - 30 min box but that was because I watched the video again.
AFter the second viewing the job went very quickly.
Thanks
