Old element was worn out (burst in line)
First, I cut the power to the stove to be sure no electrical current could be conducted. Next, I removed the two screws that hold the heating element to the back of the stove. Then, I removed the oven racks and slowly slid the heating element out until I could see the wires that attached to it. Because the element has the female end of the wire, I pulled the male ends out of both the left and right side of the element.. This releases the old element and I discarded it. Next, I took the new element, slide the male ends into the new female ends that protruded from both the right and left side of the element. I crimped these slightly with my pliers to make sure that they would stay secure when I pushed the element into place. With the new element securely attached, I slowly slid the element into place, this forces the exposed wires to be retracted out of sight and in the insulated part of the oven. I then took the two screws that I had to removed in the beginning, and used them to fasten this new heating element to the back of the oven. Finally, I turned the power back on and the element worked fine.

We needed the second set of stovetop burners
This is fantastic. We've had this Jenn-Air range for some time now, but we only used the two-burner module on one side and the indoor grill on the other. Less than a week before Thanksgiving we decided that the extra two burners would be very useful, so I set out to search the internet for a good deal and the possibility of getting it before needed. Then I found your website and within minutes theunit was on the way and, at the most reasonalable price available. I recieved the unit he next day. All I had to do was plug in the module and it was done. Thanks for making life easy

We are renting a house with a stove that only had two burners on one side and a grill element on the other. We needed four burners.
This was an extremely simple repair. No screws, no nothing. If you can plug in a lamp, you can swap out this part just as easily.

I wanted to replace the grill set and the older style solid cartridge element in my cook top.
I simply removed the old cartridge by lifting it up and pulling the plug end out. I slid the new coil cartridge with the plug end in its place. The grill replacement was similar. Remove the grll grates, pull out the burner element from its plug position, remove the grill rocks and insert the new coil cartridge in its place. No tools or special skills required. It's like I now have a new cook top.

The 25 year old 2 burner element was worn out.
1-Unplugged the old 2 burner element. 2-Plugged in the new element. 3-Elapsed time approx. 10 seconds. 4-It took longer to remove the new element from it's shipping carton than it took to remove the old & install the new.

No heating element
I think Part Select is great, but my story? I just plugged in a module.
It was so easy...well...a technical writer--one of those people who writes operation manuals--could have done it. But afterward, they wouldn't have been able to explain to anyone other than another tech writer how it was done.

Replaced a *grill* setup left us by the previous owner which vented on our knees - grease, etc. - not a bright idea.
Since it is an Admiral stovetop I rolled the dice that the Jenn-Air cartridge fit. It did.
It would be helpful to kitchen owners that part equivalency be shown since I could not find any model number(s) on the stove top.
The cartridge works very well (I expected that) and fit the contour of the black top like a glove. The price was the best of many sites I visited.
