Touch pad inoperable and latch hande & latch broker
Disassembled inside door and replaced sensor board and latch devide and handle. I removed all the screws on the inside of the door, released the circut board(sensor board or control board) and removed each connection one at a time and pluged them one at a time into the new board. I studied the setup before I disconnected anything. Oh yes, I turned off the breaker in the basement before opening the panel on the inside of the door.

Plastic handle broke
I ordered only the plastic handle at 1st (wrong); I re-ordered it as electrical and found the whole piece needed replaced, the plastic handle was not available. When I got it, I already had everything out and ready; it took approx. 10 minutes to put everything back and running. Very Easy!!! Thanks

Handle was broken
Although there were no directions, I was able to figure out that you needed to take out all of the screws that hold the front panel on. Once I opened the front panel, the old handle fell out, so I wasn't sure how the new handle went in. In a couple of minutes, I figured it out and it is now fixed.
