Handle latch broke and door difficult to open
Removed the inside door panel using a power screw driver and torque bits. (5min) Removed the handle and latch assembley from the door. Door and Latch assembly was removable after the inner door panel was removed as 2 of the torque screws that held the panel also held the assembly. (1min) Removed the remaining 7/16 hex head screws that held the power and operators panel assembly to the outer door frame. (2min) Removed the electrical ribbon tape that supplies voltage and electrical functions to the rest of the washer so the panel could be physically be removed as the tape recipitical is attached to the door harness. (1min) Also be aware that the ribbon reciptical requires a small plastic clamp ring to be pulled forward to allow the ribbon to be reinserted. Put back together in reverse order. Use caution not ot over tighten screws that are use in plastic or vinyl materials. (20min)

The striker broke when repairing something else.
I pulled the machine from under the counter top and the striker is right in front just under the insulation. I pullled the insulation back just a little and screwed down the new striker plate. That's all. I moved the machine back uinder the counter and secured it. Done!

Striker broken
Was really easy to replace just unscrew the dishwasher and remove from under the counter about 3 inches. No need to disconnect the water line or electric. Unscrew one Torx (star) screw and put the new one in. Simple, just have the screw driver before you start.
