Water valve
Water did not enter the dishwasher. I removed the water valve and connected it to the water supply[ and connected 110 vpolts to the water valve terminals. The water valve worked just fine. Now i have to check the water valve microswitch and the timer. I believe it is either one and then I will exchange the water valve for a new timer or micro switch that controls the level of water allowed in the dishwasher. However if I used a little more common sense I didn't need to remove the water valve from the dishwasher. All I had to do is remove the connectors from the water valve terminals and apply the the The 110 volts to the terminals with a separate bypass cord and that would have saved me a considerable amount of repair time.

Not cleaning properly
First I removed the spray arms. I discovered that some holes were plugged and unplugged them. I checked the pump filter and it was OK. To make it easy to access the upper arm I removed the upper dish rack. Hint: push the plastic clips toward the center of the dishwasher to remove them. I noticed that the water level was too low. It was not filling in the time that the dishwasher allowed for the fill. I removed the valve and found that it was plugged with some black silt. I bought a new valve and replaced it. I let the water run for a while until the water ran clean before I connected it to the valve. The dishwasher is cleaning well now.

Water came out from under washer.....
pushed a butter knife in at seam near the top front each side, poped the lid and water valve upper right. it took a square drive screw driver to remove screws and a pair of channel locks to remove hoses. Be sure to mark hoses and wires for the put back. It's a very simple job,but pull the washer power cord first and shut the water off. The symptom was water continued to fill washer all through wash and after completion water still flowed in. Be sure to match the selected unit to the one in the machine. Hey,the lady that took the order was sweet and the service was first class, and I'm a hero for the fix.

Dishes not getting clean and soap dispenser not working
Multiple repair starting with the soap dispenser door not openning or openning late. Fixed with the door motor kit. Don't buy just the motor! The instruction sheet is NO GOOD! Assembled unit with help of the photos and refering to the wiring diagram in the manual. Also found debris in the rotating arms. Cleaned those. A small shop vac was indispensible. Next noticed that the heating element was not being covered with water. I removed the water inlet valve and determined that rust had seized the piston. Replaced that and the dish washer is working like new. Next time- Replace the water inlet valve first!

Dishwasher would only fill with water the first cycle.
I was not sure if it was the inlet valve since it would fill with water the first cycle. After that all other cycles would run but no water would be in the dishwasher. I checked the voltage at the valve and found that 120v was applied when the water should be coming in but that I could not hear the water entering the dishwasher. I ordered the valve from this site and had it in 3 days. Spent an hour changing the valve and it works PERFECT! You do not need to tip the dishwasher on its side. Just trip the circuit breaker, shut off water and disconnect where the main goes into the inlet valve. Slide your dishwasher out and get your hands dirty. Not much to explain about it. Very simple repair. I have never done this type of work but would recommend after getting everything together to run the dishwasher a complete cycle with the bottom part off to make sure you don't have any water leaking. Good Luck - Do it yourself and save some cash.....

No water on wash cycle
set dial to regular wash cycle, it was going through the cycles but only filled water on the rinse cycle.Did voltage check at water inlet valve during water fill stage, correct voltage being applied to valve but valve not responding. shot off water supply, turned off electric breaker, removed valve, did ohms test and that confirmed no continuity, with part# on valve ordering was a breeze. My wife said i enjoyed watching her do dishes by hand too much, the new valve arrived in a couple days[just in time the dishes were starting to pile up]and installed easily.Thankyou,Partselect

My dishwasher just started leaving a white film on my dishes and leaving some food and discolloring my silverware after 10 years of cleaning without a problem
I replaced the water inlet valve that did not fix the problem. I took all of the jet rinse out and replaced it with new. That didn't work either. I put some vinegar in my dishwasher and that did better. I am at a stand still. It should just be simple. I took the whole dishwasher apart and no residue or hard water build up that I thought I would find. Looked brand new in motor and filter.
