A burner switch on the range shorted out.
Replacement is fairly easy. Even a caveman could do it. Just lift out the range, unscrew the top from it's base. Unscrew the switch from the plate. As you unplug the wires from the old switch, plug them into the new one so you won't risk getting them out of order. Then put it all back together again and you'll be good to go! Good Luck!
