The outside oven door glass panel broke

After carefully removing the broken glass and cleaning the surfaces, I unscrewed the three screws holding the bottom metal panel using a Philips head screw driver. After replacing the existing double sided tape strips the replacement glass panel was evenly slid upwardly into place. The glass panel was held temporarily in place until the bottom metal bracket was slid upwardly into place and fastened into place by tightening the three Phillips head screws.

Oven glass shattered

Remove lower drawer.
There are five screws along the bottom bracket of the oven door. Remove the outer two screws, and loosen the one in the middle almost all the way out. The other two screws can stay tight (at least on my model). Clean the new glass before you insert it. Slide the new glass into the upper bracket and center it. Wiggle the lower bracket onto the glass and tighten the center screw, keeping the glass centered. Install the other two screws and you are done.

Oven door glass shattered

I cleaned the new glass on both sides. Next I placed the bottom bracket back in place with the center screw only and left it loose. I then placed three small squares of double sided tape on either side of the oven door frame to support the glass and semi retain it while securing the bottom bracket. It is no trouble at all to wiggle the glass into place and I was careful to make sure the upper retention brackets were correctly positioned to place equal pressure on the glass. I then placed the other two screws into the bottom retention bracket, tightened all three screws and the job was finished! . the part was in my hands within 24 hours of placing the order.
