Replace broken parts/update existing countertop stove
We purchased our home this year. We were thinking we'd have to replace our JennAir counter-top cook stove. We priced some new stoves. The realization hit us that we'd be spending around $1,200 to $1,800 to replace this stove.
After visiting Partselect.com, it became obvious, we could just as easily replace those items which were broken or damaged and we'd have in essence, a new counter-top stove.
When the parts came in, I basically took everything out of the existing counter-top stove and replaced it. The top porcelain counter-top had 8 screws. I was able to remove those and then worked carefully to put the new one on.
Now that we've got all the parts on/in, my wife is very happy and states that we should be good to go for another 10 years. That saved us quite a bit of money!
Did I mention, I'm legally blind? And I was able to put all of these parts on, with little effort. I just had to be patient and remember where things went. I do a LOT of feeling around to find things. The way JennAir built their countertop stove, I was very fortunate.
Thanks to Parts Select and JennAir, we are now up and fully operational!
