Gas burner head on stove top rusted out producing blue flame where there shouldn't be
Removed stove top module and unscrewed the bottom panel. Burner head rotated out fairly easily. I ordered both the burner unit and the igniter just to be safe even though the old igniter still worked. I used the other module as a guide to reassemble the unit. The new burner head was little difficult to rotate back in and did not rotate quite as far as the original so the gas pipe was just a fraction out of alignment but there is some flex so it worked out OK when it was re-installed. Everything worked perfectly when I turned on the burner and there are no gas leaks and no blue flames where there shouldn't be!

The burner igniter would not spark to light the burner.
I had to unscrew 4 screws on the burner unit and then 2 screws on each igniter. slip the olds out and the new ones in and then replace all the screws. And wa la they sparked and I was cooking again.

Burner would not light; ignitor did not produce spark
Take a few screws off the back of the slide in burner module. Take off the back. Unscrew the ignitor screw, remove ignitor carefully, replace with the new ignitor, put the screw back in, put the back back on, try it out! Ours worked after a couple of tries - don't know if the ignitor had to "rev up" by several sparks or we just didn't have it properly installed at first. Anyway, very easy. Did it in my pajamas on a Saturday morning.

Burner would not ignite
Even though the ceramic insulator looked new (white), it had become non-functional, replacement was simple, 2 phillips screws, reassemble and test. Now I will have to order the other 3.

Igniter insulation had cracked and spark was shorting out on the flame holder whatchmacallit.
The flame holder twists about 1/2 inch to left and lifts off. I removed the two screws that holds the igniter on and removed it and installed the new igniter. There was one complication: when I put it back together, there was no spark. I removed the ground wire and cleaned and scraped it and replaced it and still no spark. But, for no apparent reason the spark returned and has been okay since.

Replaced igniter in right rear burner
Simply remove the box containing the two right burners. Access the igniter by removing about 8 screws and pull the coupler for the igniter off with a pair of needel nose pliers. Replace with new igniter using the same tool. Re-assemble the box by screwing in the screws and give it a try. Worked great. Once slight hitch, be sure you don't leave a second screw driving in the box. As it will raddle. So I had to remove and reassemble twice. I'm not a surgeon! Thanks for the fast delivery!

Lack of burner gas ignition
I used the other good burner assembly to isolate the problem to the igniters or the igniter block. I ordered both parts from Parts Select. They shipped the parts promptly and after 10 minutes of install time, the burners worked flawlessly. Thank You Parts Select.

Burners were leaking gas, igniters didn't work
I had to use a pipe wrench to remove the burners. They were pretty stubborn to remove from the insert. Once this was done, I installed the ingniters into the underside of the burner, then installed the venturi tubes. After that, installing the burners only took simple placement and a quarter turn to lock them in. I adjusted the burner with a screwdriver and wrench as per the manuals instructions and that is all it took. I did a repair that cost me approx $150.00 to all 4 burners instead of buying two complete new burner inserts for $600.00 and it took less than 1 hour to do. I would do it again anytime.
