This thermostat knob is made of plastic, and will accept a 'D' shaped shaft. This white knob has gray lettering along the perimeter denoting the temperature level as well as the off, broil, and warm positions.

Thermostate seized up (wouldn't turn)

Removed the burners, unscrewed the gas assembly from the stove top, removed the two screws securing the thermostat, pulled out the old thermostat, installed new thermostat and put back together in reverse order.

Also, I replaced both "orifice fitting assemblies" due to pinched burner gas lines from previous "Mr. Fix-it's" working on the stove.

Both jobs were easy for the average do-it-yourselfer and needed minimal tools to accomplish.
