The display faded away almost to nothing
There were only 4 screws to remove to take off the thingy that houses the electronics portion. Then, there was a ribbon connector and two push on connectors to unconnect. Unscrewed the 4 nuts holding the faulty Assembly in place, replaced with new Assembly, and reversed the process.
That easy. The only problem was making sure which of the parts we actually needed.

Display very dim & broil not working
Turn off the electrical breaker before starting! Open the oven door & remove the 4 silver hex head screws under the bottom of the control panel with a 1/4 " nut driver. Pull out on the bottom of panel. This will access the clock assembly. Unplug the ribbon cable by pushing in & up on the small clips on each end of the connector - this is a little tricky but not that difficult. Remove the two small connectors and remove the two clock assembly mounting screws. Reverse the procedure for installation. This corrected the problem with the broil element not working - apparently the electronic clock assembly was the problem there as well.

Self cleaning inoperable, display very dim/unreadable
First, DISCONNECT POWER or you can turn your panel into an arc welder. After that removed four screws that hold front panel in place and 2 screws that hold the display in place. disconnect ribbon cable and two other cables. Reverse operation for assembly.
For the self cleaning problem, replace door lock switch by pulling forward, use needle nose to remove & replace connector. Push into place. Very easy. Total 10 minutes for both jobs

Clock / oven temp display went dim then out.
cut off power to stove & made sure it was OFF. removed the few screws on the underside of front cover. lift cover and un-screw the clock/display I then removed the wire strip feeds (one has friction tabs that need to be lifted before you pull it.. it's the flat ribbon cable use the butter knife to lift the tabs...easy does it) put the new clock in and reconect the wires. push the ribbon in and push the tabs. All done and saved $160.00 bucks

The panel display was fading/dimming.
I shut down power at the circuit breaker, removed the stove knobs, unscrewed the underneath screws of the front panel, pulled off the panel, and the electronic board/panel was there.
I unhooked the wires (3 sets), and used the socket to remove the electronic board from the front panel. I put it all back together. Very easy-- less than 15 minutes!

Display not working
The part came right away! Removed six screws from above door, than pull knobs off and remove four screws that were under knobs. Front panel pulls off. Remove display and put back together. Peice of cake. Wish all my projects were that easy!

Very dim lights and numbers
Popped it in and now we have a well lighted control panel AND a night light for the kitchen. Just wish Jen air would design a longer lasting part!!!

The oven "read-out" was gone. Everything worked fine but you had to be very carefull with your entry.
After throwing the breaker. The repair consisted of removing the screws that held the control panel "housing" together. I think it was seven screws. I then disconnected the three electrical connections. The "ribbon" connection seamed delicate so I was careful. the control assembly is then loose. I removed the clock control panel with a nut driver (four screws). The installation process was just a reverse of what I have already described. It really was a piece of cake.

The clock display had dimmed out.
The expert said to replace the clock control and linked to the replacement part. The part was promptly shipped. The only difficult part of the repair turned out to be the removal of the ribbon from the old controller. I noted the tabs on the side of the ribbon receptacle and expected the ribbon to release when these were pushed in. What was actually needed was to not only push in but also to pull upward on the tabs in order to release the ribbon. That was not obvious and it took me a while to get the ribbon released.

No lights on control panel - oven worked
My electrical engineer son was skeptical of my diagnoses and wanted to be there so I didn't electrocute myself. Opened oven door so interior light came on. Went to circuit box and opened proper circuit (previously determined). Light went off. Started timing,removed 7 seven screws, I held the panel while my son removed the wires from connections. I expected the long multi-wire to release from the panel, but only a part of it came up when we squeezed the ends which released the wires. Removed four hex-head screws, put new panel in place, re-installed screws, inserted multi-wires into connector, connected the other two wires, re-installed the 7 screws, closed circuit breaker. 17 minutes. Set clock. Works like a new one. It appears the display unit lost vacuum. One small black spot like a burned incandecent filament. Engineer was impressed.

Clock display had completely gone out
Followed other's comments about process. Opened door then removed 4 hexnuts from bottom of stove control panel. Removed hexnut from each triangular side panel of control panel. Removed side panel (it did break off a screw area near the top of the panel, but did not negatively affect reassembly. Control panel slid down and tilted out so I could see the backside of the clock control circuit card. Removed 2 small cables. The flex cable is removed by pushing in on the small ears on each side of the connector. The cable has a couple of holes which are over protusions on the connector, so be careful. Removed the 2 hex nuts holding the board down, and put in the new one. Put cables back on as removed - the near side of the flex cable connector is free to slide up about 1/8 inch when ears on both ends of connector are pushed in. When raised, put the flex cable in place and push in (along with the side of the connector) until it is latched in place. This took me the longest since I was being careful here, but no more than 10 minutes. Then put control panel back in place, and put triangular end pieces back on panel and attach with hex nut, then put 4 front hex nuts back in place. Worked fine!! Thanks for everyone's encouragement and help in understanding what I would find during this process.

Electronic control faded out
Thanks to all of the previous do-it-yourself repairers. With those instructions it was quite simple to do the repair. The only glitch I had was trying to get the ribbon back into the new unit. That was until I looked at the old unit and finally figured out how to release the new unit lock. Then it was a simple process to install the ribbon. My biggest problem was finding my close-up glasses so I could actually SEE what I was doing.

Oven will not heat
Installed it by dropping the front plate down, removing the 2 screws that held the clock in place and then unsnapped the wires and did the reverse to attach new clock.

The led display went blank over a period of 6 mo.
I removed the 4 control knobs, removed 4 screws behind the knobs, removed 4 screws on bottom of panel. lifted front panel, off of stove, unplugged wiring on back and placed new panel by reversing process. Works great. Like new. Very easy if you have any experience working with appliances or most any kind of mechanical experience. Simple and straight forward.
