The large "pan" (I'd call it a drawer) broke on my amana refrigerator...apparantly a common problem with this refrige.
After going to the Amana website and not finding my refrigerator even listed there (it is less than 6 years old) I emailed them, but decided to do my own search and found this website. Ordering the part was easy and was delivered within the week.

A large chunk broke off the top part of the vegetable crisper
All I had to do was slide the new crisper on the track. The biggest obstacle to making the repair was finding the part. I originally dealt with Whirlpool, who apparently handles Amana parts now. I waited for two weeks for them to send me the WRONG drawer! When I called them about the mistake, they placed an order for the correct crisper, but it was on backorder! It was at that point that I found the right part IN STOCK at partselect.com for a significantly lower price. I cancelled my order with Whirlpool and had the correct crisper from partselect.com in just two days!!! Now, almost two weeks later, I'm STILL waiting for the labels I need to return the wrong part to Whirlpool. Thank goodness for partselect.com!!!

install. Replacements were better made

Bins would not stay on track due to broken back tabs
I removed the old bins, making sure to get all the pieces that had broken from the back tabs where they slide into the upper support racks. The replacement bins slid in easily and work perfectly.
