Fridge warmed up and freezer was extra cold.
Followed advice from online forums and replaced the adaptive defrost timer. Simple unplug/plug of a circuit board buried in ceiling of fresh food compartment. Once it was replaced waited a couple of days to ensure defrost heater was turning on, success was the result. Used the little plastic parts ordered to replace lost parts. This time I glued them in with epoxy so they would not pop off in the future. Overall an extremely simple repair, I am happy that our Maytag offers streamlined troubleshooting!

I contacted the local maytag store asked for a price quote on the parts for repair. After the sticker shock I was not about to ask service rates! I went online and found this wonderfull site that gave exploded views of my appliance it was so easy to see the parts I wanted and saw a section on troubleshooting great!! I ordered the parts I needed and the one recommended for the real problem. One hour later from start to finish and it has worked great ever since Thank You Guys and Gals Yea!!!
