The plastic handle broke off at the bottom.

We easily removed the original screws from the inside of the microwave and then reused them to attach the new handle.

Bottom of door handle broken at connecting screw

Removed top and bottom screws from door and simply returned them through the door to the new handle. Considerilng the fact that it mighnt be necessary to purchase a new microwave unit I was delited as to the end results.
